Average age of the Armed Assault player

Recommended Posts

I'm 25 going 26 this year - I wonder if I'm buying ArmA before or after going 26 in the summer. tounge2.gif

Spent my early youth playing Nintento NES but soon after found the joys of "Aces over the Pacific" and "Aces over Europe" on my father's PC. I got to wake up at 5 am on sundays (my parents slept in) just to be able to play without any chance of hassle. Then I got to play F-15, F-19 and Sierra/Dynamix's A-10 and Stellar 7 on my first PC, a Commodore PC-30-III, which was a 16mhz 286 with an EGA card... damn that was ugly!

After that I went 486/66, Pentium MMX 200Mhz, AMD Athlon Thunderbird 800, and then jumped to AMD XP 1600+ which I still have running, contrary to the AMD XP 2400+/3000+ (CPU Upgrades) whose MB died on me (damn power surge...). Back to Intel with E6600... But besides PC LANs, my "clan" gets together to have some Playstation 2 fun!

Oh, yeah, time sure fries... crazy_o.gif

37.

Age distribution here seems pretty much the same as all the other games.

Imagine if my dad had had a computer.

Mental.

It would be like all valves and stuff. A really hot room full of lightbulbs and a tickertape.

These forums kinda scare me. I only now realize that I argue with people who are old enough to be my father.

18.

I was Chuck Yeager's Air Combat man myself. Good ole bitmap explosions, combined with Chuck's droll comments when you accidentally stack your Phantom II into a B17 => priceless.
