3k.Baxter 0 Posted July 8, 2007 I think the vehicle sounds are awesome, they sound like the videos, which i take to be realistic, so all you whiners, stop moaning about how the M1 doesn't sound "heavy" enough. It sounds like it does in the video, which is good enough for me. As far as i can see there is no moaning... Just input

-Puma- 2 Posted July 9, 2007 Well the only vehicle sound I've got is from the footage I could find, couldnt find very many, and most has some stupid narrator or annoying music in it. I could use vehicle sounds from some other game, like BF2, but then it wouldnt be "authentic enough, though i could, unless I have to resort to it. I do have one sound for the M1A1 but is too whistly or high pitched but i can use it though. The T72 is deisel, so is the shilka as this one in the video is . Though I couldnt find a motor sound for the Shilka elsewhere. for the M1A1: M1A1 ONe of the things too I was aiming for was at least some rumbling in the engines. BMP: BMP that bmp needs some grease on the wheels please dont add the squeeging sound or every1 will go insane
sphoenix 11 Posted July 9, 2007 Hi there! It's the first time I look at your sound mod and it looks good so far There's only a couple of things that bothers me. I'm sure they've already been pointed out and maybe solved as well, if the video on the first post isn't up-to-date. First off: the silencers sounds like sprays. Secondly, it'd be better if you deleted the fire after sounds. those sounds depends on the terrain configuration at the time you shoot. If in ArmA you shoot from a confined space and you hear the echo... not good. And I couldn't tell from the video but this is a problem most sound packs suffer from: the sharpness of the sounds. If you take them from live fire videos, try to clean up the sound a little bit so it sounds like you actually fired the weapon yourself. Good job anyways, and good luck SPhoenix out. If chammy listened to all these things, the mod would be out in late april 2010.... but on the other hand i think he got these covered
