In ArmA, the Automatic Riflemen always have gloves on. Those gloves are pretty cool looking, does anyone have the skin from the game, or where I could find them? Someone posted a Face Pack with the group of all the faces, but they didnt have these gloves in them.

Hi, i have put my face jpg into all the relevant folders...when I go to edit my face in game I cannot find the custom face slot to use the face i have chosen....any ideas,,xxx

Hi, to use any custom face, it should be named: face and be a .jpg,

you should copy any of this faces and rename it and then... save

it into your:

"C:\Documents and Settings\USER\My documents\ArmA"

or...

"C:\Documents and Settings\USER\My documents\ArmA\Other Profiles"

and then go to the Player Edit menu and there... choose:

"Custom Face"

or something like that, i hope that you be able of make 'em work.

Hi, well Stewy... i don't know what you're reffering to, my english is

not that good; do you want something that matches the ACU light

temperature?, the ACU colour...?, some kind of neopren (like the suits

of damn surfers and divers)?. Make things with patterns, match over

the arms is really hard and im too lazy as for do depending on what

kind of things; but if i'll understand better what you're reffering to,

i could try it. But forget about make a 23 pixels line in two colours

match over the arms mapping, i'll turn mad; and im already half mad,

so... well... "how could i say it...??" im lazy. Let's C ya

Hi, there're not any original files of the faces, Heliosjet; i save 'em

in 512x512 in the HD before upload 'em to the page that i use to

store graphics and then i delete those faces from the HD. I already

have my own custom face that i change from time to time when im

bored; but i don't give nothing about the custom faces that i do, i

do 'em because i got bored, not for any other reason. If i had more

money i'll not even touch the computer, i'll be partying all the day man. Let's C ya

Hehe, thanks Wip - yeah, Skins is a muscle compression shirt/pants that help with muscle recovery, etc...

I've heard of soldiers wearing them becuase they're warm, etc...

im not online enjoying the team killers company, the sicker bad hardware

peromance, the lag, the disconnections, and those 3.000.000 of damn

bugs that still there making the online game "a new combat experience".

with photoshop, but the outcome was pretty awful..

a tip for ya all, if u want tattoos on ur soldier, download tattoo fonts(google 'em) and have a blast

Hi all !

Anyone knows how to assign a face to a unit ? I mean assigning a face by "default" to some unit in a way of creating characters with name etc (for a mod) !

I tried by editing the p3d in hexa and replacing the location of the faces textures inside, but it didn't work

Hi, well Puma... the only advise that i can give is to use bigger and

squared textures; and the program that i use is the photoshop CS 9.

I haven't touched or even think in touch, the 1.07b+hotfix; i don't

touch anything that don't be an Alpha version; and... i also haven't

though in use any kind of replacement pack, mod, addon or whatever;

ain't like that kind of things, if the game is plaged of bugs rightnow...

there's no beta that can fix that; this is not the OFP when the 1St

beta out by BIS was the 1.81 and a beta that wrecks the 2D sights

is not just what im waiting for, i don't know what they're doing or

why; but ain't like what i've seen until now. So no betas or mods

allowed here. Let's C ya

Here's my face.jpg - I actually used a photo of myself to create it, but it doesn't look much like me in-game . I guess it's because of the wrong head shape.

Hi, relation of size between your face/head and the ArmA head

model is very important, those with long face and a small head, like

me; can't import our face to the ArmA. But, in you case, if the texture

is as bright as i see it there, im sure that it must not look good in

game. A solution could be to do a dark brown layer above the whole

texture, cut off the parts like the eyes, the mouth intern, the hair,

and that kind of things; the nose and ears holes too. And then...

play with the trasparency of that dark brown layer until that you find

a skin colour that looks close enought to yours and that you think

that will look good enough in game.

That's what i'll do reffering to the colour, about the head size...

maybe take a trip to chernovil and "with luck", my head will grow

in size; chernovil... moruroa... the nevada desert... the camchatka

peninsula... i don't know, that's the only possible solution for that. Let's C ya
