From what i can see on this thread that has been a common problem in the past. Anyone else having this happen in 1.08? 3: When i dont crash (rarely) i suffer from extreme stalls in the game with FPS stopping for up to a minute at a time and then coming back slowly at about 1FPS. Graphics are alo buggy even on low Settings None of these problems were experienced with 1.05 (which was the version i downloaded from sprocket originally i think) Is there a likely fix in the works? Graphics are alo buggy even on low Settings None of these problems were experienced with 1.05 (which was the version i downloaded from sprocket originally i think) Is there a likely fix in the works? howdy chappy, what leads you to believe your problems are caused by the sprocket version? did you get any corrupt file messages or errors when installing? did you use ArmA_InternationalUpdate105_108 to patch? have you tried the traditional trouble-shooting chores? anit-virus check, spyware check, applied latest motherboard drivers, applied latest dx9 build from MS, applied latest audio drivers, applied openal, monkeyed with video drivers, turned off EAX in options, memtest your ram, check your ribbons, wires, and card connections in your comp in case something has come loose... good luck! chappy 0 Posted August 23, 2007 well i guess what led me to beleive it was a sprocket specific problem was the existence of this thread of 29 pages of people reporting similar problems over the breadth of patches that have been put out for arma....... yes i used the 1.08international patch i have 40gig on the HDD so pagefile shouldnt be a problem latest drivers = check There was no corruption in the download anti virus and spyware = check overall computer health is fine and no other applications are experiencing new problems Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Anyone else having this happen in 1.08? Sorry to hear about your problems. Since the 1.05 patch my ArmA (Sprocket version) is rock solid also in MP and I'm now running 1.08. Pre 1.05 myself and many others Sprocket users crashed left to right but as far as I know BIS took care of that specific ArmA Sprocket MP problem in the 1.05 patch. /KC Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

In order to rectify this problem please do the following… 1) Uninstall your game 2) Delete your games folder in “Program Files†(if it’s still there) 3) Go to “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents†and delete the following: a) Softwrap (folder) b) Global.sw2 (file) 4) Now REINSTALL your Game 5) Run the game and activate it using your License Holder Name and Purchase Reference Contact me if you lost any of your information or your game's install file! PuFu 4600 Posted September 10, 2007 i got one problem: i dont have arma_server.exe file in my arma folder. I know "box" users have that, and can start a dedicated server. So i wonder is this my problem or it was meant not to be. and if so, why? I tried copying the file from a mate of mine, but i comes back with an err concerning its protection. Is there anything i can do when I get home and actually download? Or is it just a matter of putting in he code that they gave me on the home system and everything will be fine? viciousvinny 0 Posted October 14, 2007 these are my specs or something: platform: windows vista business Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E6750 @ 2.66 GHz 2046 Mb RAM 32 Bit VideoCard: nVidia 8600GT 256 Mb The game keeps on crashing, the screen freezes and doesn't respond at all, most of the time when entering a menu.
