Blackbuck 9 Posted August 21, 2006 i can sum up these last few posts in one word pathetic. hoz what ThomasRyan has posted here is a continuation from an msn conversation he had with SRK now i cant help but think whats said on msn stays on msn right? so why has he the right to come into my thread and star accusing me of stuff frankly i havent done for instance he says i sent SRK the wrong files, how the hell does he know what the wrong and right ones are? what that post ment was dont download the pack because you wont gain anything! thomas ryan being th immature person he is takes it upon himself to tell me i've been acusing SRK of messing! up hmm thats fair now isnt it hoz my point is if you dont know what your trying to post either dont post the comment / text or ask / say it via PM. now i hope that thats cleared everything up about all this stupid behaviour about acusing people of thing now can we please get back to the topics of the mercenary pack? Blackbuck 9 Posted September 7, 2006 its been a while since i showed u an update of what weve done, well SRK has vastly updated the soldier models fixing bugs adding custom content etc, i've been working on more custom content for the "Module" and here is what i've been doing since 19:15 UK "Local time" there is an RPG22, RPO and numerous other eastern descent weapons to be made in the coming weeks the only problem is with the RPGs is they need textures so a texture artist would be very very welcomed to join UCS if they can, please PM me or serial killer for details regards H_H Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
.COMmunist 0 Posted September 7, 2006 Great addon guys! I just dowloaded it on the weekend and was very impressed. Couple of suggestions if you don't mind though. The guy with AK-47 is kind of a week point. These guys are mercs, so they usually try to carry the best equipment available (they have the money for it). If you want to give him a Russian weapon, perhaps you should give him VSS or at least AK-74U with a silencer and a red dot. With AK-47 he looks like poor bastard next to the guys with newer weapons. About the RPG's. Why inventing a bicycle if there are great RPG's exist in the RHS and ORCS packs. It might save you lots of time. Blackbuck 9 Posted September 7, 2006 hehe i worked for ORCS lol adding jam to the new weapons lol so i can try either i hope with regards to yuri me will se what i can do for him maybe a 100 series AK *edit* scrath built RPG rounds are the easiest thing in o2 to make just make an 8 section cylinder the RPG wasnt to hard either its madefrom 3 pieces the Barrel, Hand guard and the exhaust (back) and still only has around 300 - 500 polys the rounds are around 100 - 300 polys at most i think so its all going well go me! Expect a new release quite soon including some surprises *edit* ok i'd like some feedback please what do you think to me making the PG7-VR able to do this??? You know what everyone had failed to do when they made the RPG with TB warhead (thermobaric)? There are no BURNING effect afterwards. The TB round burns like a napalm. The best damn thing to clear the bunkers or buildings. Russians used them very effectively in Chechnya against snipers hiding in the buildings.
