Sniperwolf572 758 Posted August 4, 2006 Dream on Dinamo fanboy. Hajduk would have had more chance of winning. (I predict this topic would be locked, too ot for ot)
GoOB 0 Posted August 5, 2006 That's my team, just failed to qualify into champions league, got beaten by Ruzomberok with 2-1 I think it was... But today is gameday, DIF versus HIF, bring it on!
Messiah 2 Posted August 5, 2006 this is my club: I predict we'll have a mediocre season, stay in the middle of the league and generally get nowhere because football today is all about money, and we have none, forcing us to sell our best players to the rich premiership clubs, so we keep afloat that little bit longer. JdB 151 Posted August 5, 2006 Any season will be better then last years'... Playing against FC Kopenhagen on 8th and 23rd of August to qualify for the Champions League.
deanosbeano 0 Posted August 5, 2006 this is my team after a break of 44 years from the English league they are back. I hope they have a nice steady season and remain consistent anywhere above the bottom 5 would be nice.
llauma 0 Posted August 5, 2006 That's my team. IK Brage from Borlänge, Sweden. They have a great history which includes European cup games in the 80's against Inter Milan (1-2, 1-2) and Werder Bremen but they are currently playing in a lower Swedish division. They have been troubled by a relatively large debt but it seems like they've managed to take care of it. The team consists of mainly younger players. I believe the average age is around 20 years. Last year was mediocre but this year they're at the top of the table. The future looks fairly promising. The key players are Niclas Olausson, a 18 year old offensive midfielder who's been representing Swedens U-18 team. He was invited to train with Fiorentina the last winter. Alin Vigariu, a Romanian winger from the FC Universitateta Craiova has been very consistent and a great role model for the youngsters. Other players worth mentioning are Colo Halit who attracted the interest of bigger teams a couple of years ago. He's been invited to Man Utd a couple of times to show his skills. Kebba Ceesay, a 18 year old central defender was recently brought to the senior squad has been very impressive. A few Swedish top teams have shown some interest. kernriver 4 Posted August 5, 2006 I support Dinamo Zagreb as well... I hope we qualify for Champions league, although i imagine it will be tough to do that against Arsenal, but still...one can always hope!
Bordoy 0 Posted August 5, 2006 Same as Messiah, I'm a Forest lad. You Reds!!!! Won 1-0 in a crap game today against Bradford. This guy from Israel (and lives there) came today for his first ever Forest match. Nice lad. New keeper is our only signing, and he looked very encouraging today. Can't believe we only signed 1 player though, and a keeper at that!!! The board claimed the increase of ST prices was to fund the signing of new players...........no they weren't. Our club is in a total mess from top to bottom though. Messiah: Did you go today?

llauma 0 Posted August 5, 2006 This is my fav team.. Currently number one in Denmark:http://www.football.co.uk/shared/images/teams/aab.jpg Too bad you lost Martin Ericsson to BIF.. By the way, he started his senior career in Brage.
VictorTroska 0 Posted August 6, 2006 Ivan Klasnic scored twice as Werder Bremen sent out a warning to FC Bayern München with a 2-0 victory in the German League Cup final at Leizpig's Zentralstadion. Klasnic double: Klasnic put Bremen, who finished runners-up to Bayern last season, ahead on 29 minutes after being set up by Germany striker Miroslav Klose's fine pass. Klasnic doubled the score mid-way through the second half when he fired a free-kick through a hole in the Bayern wall. The result sent out a clear message to Bayern that they will not have it all their own way this season as they chase a third straight title. "We not only wanted to win more than Bayern, we were also quite clearly the better team," Bremen captain Torsten Frings said. Bremen strong: Bayern had won all five of their other appearances in the competition, comprising the top-six from the previous season, but rarely looked like adding to that sequence in Leipzig. "We didn't have much up front," Bayern coach Felix Magath said. "Bremen were strong. They're clearly a co-favourite for the Bundesliga." Klasnic is back  ,and i think Werder will be 1st this season. Espectro (DayZ) 0 Posted August 6, 2006 This is my fav team.. Currently number one in Denmark:http://www.football.co.uk/shared/images/teams/aab.jpg Too bad you lost Martin Ericsson to BIF.. By the way, he started his senior career in Brage. True that... He played very good for Aab - but the management in Aab have the habit of selling their best players. Ericsson, Jesper Grřnkjćr, Sřren Andersen, Erik Bo Andersen to name a few... Ericsson have had a bad start in BIF (thank god) . I just guess his playing style isn't suited for them... Who knows. Let's see how it goes today (gambled quite a few bucks on todays matches ). - But they should get in... Allready got two of four right.
booradley60 0 Posted August 6, 2006 I'm a big time homer. This is my school's American football team. It's pretty much a religion around here.
llauma 0 Posted August 6, 2006 We're talking about real football, at least what most people around the world considers to be football. Though I suppose American football is a part of the football family, historically.
scary 0 Posted August 6, 2006 The Mariners. After coming back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 maybe it's a sign that they're not going to cock up the season like last year. But probably not. Anyway, hopefully I'll manage to get home to see them some time this year.

VictorTroska 0 Posted August 7, 2006 Unleashed in the East: The UEFA Champions League could have a distinctly eastern European flavour this season should results go the way of some of the region's aspiring clubs when the third qualifying round gets under way. 'Fear' AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti might have been speaking for any number of coaches of western clubs when he expressed his opinion on his side's third-round opponents, FK Crvena Zvezda. "They are a tough team," the Rossoneri coach said. "They are a team to fear." Ancelotti knows that better than most. He was a member of the Milan side that only narrowly overcame the then Yugoslav champions in the second round of the European Champion Clubs' Cup in Belgrade in 1988. But he is by no means the only western coach with reason to worry. Eastern optimism NK Dinamo Zagreb are relishing their tie with an injury-hit Arsenal FC, FC Steaua Bucuresti, UEFA Cup semi-finalists last season, will fancy their chances against R. Standard de LiÄge as will PFC Levski Sofia against tournament newcomers AC Chievo Verona. Across eastern Europe there is a wave of optimism with 13 clubs from the region contesting the third qualifying round. Of those 13 three are sure to qualify, with all eastern match-ups between 2005 UEFA Cup winners PFC CSKA Moskva and Slovakian champions MFK Ružomberok, FC Spartak Moskva and FC Slovan Liberec, and FC Shakhtar Donetsk and Legia Warszawa. Rabotnicki surprise F.Y.R. Macedonia champions FK Rabotnicki are the surprise package of the third qualifying round. The Skopje side, who face LOSC Lille Métropole, are the only team capable of repeating FC Artmedia and Liverpool FC's feat last season of reaching the group stage from the first qualifying round. Rabotnicki upset Hungary's Debreceni VSC in the second qualifying round and will not be daunted by their opening trip to France. Alongside Liverpool, Steaua, Crvena Zvezda and Milan, three other former European champions enter the competition this round. Hamburger SV face a stern test against Spanish first-timers CA Osasuna, AFC Ajax play FC KÅ™benhavn and FK Austria Wien take on SL Benfica. Ehehe, this could be sweet: Eastern Europe vs West Europe

Used to go a hell of alot when i lived in Nottm (pretty much every home game), but not for about 3/4 years now agreed about the state of the club... and its a neverending circle, reckon its going to take a fair while to claw ourselves back to a respectable position. scary 0 Posted August 8, 2006 Make sure you beat Notts County!!! They'd better, but as they've just lost 3-0 to Wrexham  If the useless tossers hadn't cocked up the end of last season they'd have been playing Forest. Surely not another Grimbarian in the Flashpoint world? Another? Does that mean I'm not unique?
