Albert Schweitzer 10 Posted December 5, 2005 I guess this thing is realy none of my business, but I think adding a short note in his profile would be appropriate. It wouldnt be nice if someone, by bad luck, would send a message to this adress or even his email. I suppose the parents still check his email account to inform friends unknown to them. Delete his email adress and enter a short note, I think this would not be a bad step to take!

bn880 5 Posted December 5, 2005 I want to say that I really enjoyed Andy's photography from Iraq. Thanks for all your help to CoC, WGL and many others Andy... By the way, it may not have been mentioned, but Andy asked to be back in Iraq for this second duration.
Daniel 0 Posted December 5, 2005 Yep, that was mentioned. Apparently he chose that over more work on the vbs, although I may have got that wrong. Rest In Peace.

hellfish6 7 Posted December 6, 2005 Deleted political post. Next person that brings politics and the ethics of the war into this topic is gonna take a long vacation. This is a humble memorial for the man many of us had played with and talked to before, not a soapbox for bullshit. If you don't want to pay your respects fine - but don't disgrace the solemnity of the topic with your politics.

crashdome 3 Posted December 6, 2005 My deepest sympathies. It is truly more than the loss of a few Marines (as always). I never knew him, but I knew of him and his relation to OFP/VBS. I hope there are individuals who can help us carry on his goals and help keep everyone moving forward.
