I hauled Harr over to The Maine Building. Got 25 AP, gonna save some up incase I run into trouble at fort creedy. There's a whole hell of a lot of zombies all around here. Four outside the building I'm in now. I'm gonna need to get the Free-running skill to get inside all these heavily barricaded buildings.

It's a pain in the ass until you start getting enough XP for the skills to improve your aim and meelee attacks. I've managed to kill one zombie so far, but he was already weakend by some else. But now that you're dead try to get outside a NecroTech building to get revived, or play as a zombie and start eating some brains biggrin_o.gif

The Syringe will revive zombies (But you need the NecroTech employee skill for that and the extractor) And the DNA extractor has something to do with tracking zombies or something, I'm not sure, I'll have to read up on it again.

My current locations on my characters are:

Harnu : the Flooks Building (Brooksville) [31, 64]

Harr (My main character) : the Maine Building (Peppardville) [78, 42]

Patronus : the Doubting Building (Crowbank) [76, 68]

They're all hiding out in different NecroTech buildings. My advice to you guys is to try to find some NecroTech buildings, they're either strongly barricaded and full of people or a very few of them are full of zombies. If you look at the maps, the red names are the NecroTech buildings.

hey harnu im in Peppardville held up inside Marshment place police department with about 30 other guys. My characters called 'Shell Shock'. I ended up there after going to the fort and finding nothing in the armoury and narrowly escaping the 14 zombies out side of it.

Were you able to search inside the armory and the fort or was it all barricaded or abondoned? I'm only two blocks away from you, I'm gonna get my ass into that police department and use mt Ap to search for more ammo. Once I get my 50 AP back by tommorow want to try taking on some zombies?

Ahh got some time on my hands, gonna go watch Dawn of the Dead, maybe Shaun of the Dead too biggrin_o.gif (What are some real good zombie movies? I want to get some of the ones I never saw before.) There were some zombie movies recently ,what are some of the newer ones... then again I never even saw 28 days later. I need some reccomendations biggrin_o.gif

Sanctu thought he was inside a building and slept, but when waking up he had the surprise to find himself totally devoured by some zombis during his night.

No more shopping for unfortunate new zombi Sanctu !

Will try with another character , and this time will triple check he is really inside of a building when leaving the game biggrin_o.gif

Ok this time, a bit more % of hit with handguns , Sanc Tuary is a military private paradropped on the town.

He is in "the Allsop Arms" [52, 49] in RidleyBank with 6 other people

Sancuary how about you head north east to Randall bank. I see there are three police stations there we could meet up at. It's about half way between you and I.

  I am now inside the Gillett Place Police Dept

[61, 34] in Randall bank. I'm going to spend the rest of my points on searching. Some how  I lost 4 hit points on the way here. Must of tripped over some rubble and smacked my head.

   Oh yeah look out in north west heytown. There are a lot of zombies there. I took a chance and ran through a street that had 3 on it. That's more likely how I lost the 4 hit points.

I used up my last 8 action points on searching and foudn a pistol clip. Now if only I had a pistol tounge2.gif

Looking at the map I might have been able to reach you Sanctuary. I'm not sure though so it's probably better that I got inside this police station with these other guys. I'm sure If I would of pressed on I would have run out of moves and been stuck just ouside the police station your at heh heh.

In Peppardville Marshment Place Police Dept [76, 43]. Someone reports of a lot of zombies south of fort creedy. They weren't shitting us when they said search police departments if you're a soldier. I'm pretty well stocked up right now. (13 AP, gonna go do some zombie hunting tommorow around Fort Creedy)

2 x Pistol (12 Shots)

3 x Pistol clips/mags (18 Shots)

1 x Shotgun (2 Shots)

4 x Shotgun shells (4 Shots)

1 x Crowbar

1 x Fireaxe

1 x Length of pipe

I am now inside the Gillett Place Police Dept

[61, 34] in Randall bank. I'm going to spend the rest of my points on searching. Some how I lost 4 hit points on the way here. Must of tripped over some rubble and smacked my head.

I tried to move to your place and i am now in the Heddington Museum [60,35] , in the immediate south west of the Gillett Place Police Dept in Randallbank.

I have been unable to enter the police dept as it is too much barricaded, the Heddington Museum has some people in it, but is lightly barricaded, i hope to survive the night biggrin_o.gif

When i will get back more Action Points (and some undead did not devoured me during the night) , i will try to enter one of the other police dept of Randallbank , to see if i can find some more weaponry as i don't know how much bullets are left in my handgun clips.

How about we all link up at Towner Lane Police Dept

[68, 36] ? It should only take Sanctuary, Harnu and I about 8 to 12 action points each to reach it.

  When I entered it on the way to the one I'm in now, it had a lot people in it and should be safe.

   Once we are all linked up we can start moving as a group and hopefully heal each other and take down some undead scum with volley fire.

Are you sure you were not able to get in to the police station Sanctuary? It says it's only heavily baricaded so far I've been able to enter every heavily baricaded building just fine, at least I think I have.

Maybe someone inside the building upgraded the defense of it (there is a skill for that) , as i had a message telling me my character was unable to come in.

A chance i was not out of AP , as another nearby building was forbidden for me too smile_o.gif

Why not use Marshment Police Department [76, 43]? It's close to the armory, what class players are all of you? If you chose anything military it's a pretty good spot to be here. Lots of people and quite strongly barricaded at this PD, makes a really good safehouse. And it's only 5 moves from the Armory, and that's a good spot to get weapons and ammo, is it not?

EdHaskel, the local streetcop, paid a visit to the Fort Perryn Armory. Lotta zombies there. I'm holding up at the moment in Boole Place Fire Station, Pennville. Strong barricades, no bodies. Have a pistol, flak vest, 2 shotgun shells and 2 wirecutters. Didn't take time to search armory as there were 7 zombies, but will build up and then check it out further.

Ok, another edit. Kell Hound says there's like 20 ppl at Police Station, and it is VERY secure.

Doing ALOT of reading in there, and everyone has the same opinion. Do NOT overnight in Police Stations. Zombies are drawn to them, same as the forts. So we might want to rethink about staying in the Marshment Place Police Dept[76, 43]. But something close, so we can raid the various police stations and Fort/Armory. If someone has points, and doesn't want to head off on his own, check out neighboring buildings to see how secure they are. Post here, and then we can decide where to go. Maybe we should ALSO note here in our travels, buildings that we find that are Very Strongly secured (higher level you can't enter without the Free Running skill). ONLY post the Very Strongly, and as ppl get low on action points they can check in here and find out fast where to go try and hide! pistols.gif

Ok, so we try to meet in Peppard Ville , it seems there are more interesting places there.

Sanc Tuary is on his way to Peppard Ville , but for now always in Randall Bank zone, inside of the Parslow Building that is quite strongly barricaded and located in [67, 38] and as i ran out of AP , noticing there are already 4 other people Sanc Tuary will spend the night there

One of the warehouse near my location had its "doors wide open" and the other had just the door closed so if someone come near , try to be sure you have enough AP to not be forced to enter those warehouse, very unsecure place to spend a night.

Maybe Sanc Tuary will arrive in Peppard Ville tomorrow if nothing too bad happen during the night.

I logged in with the Sanctu account to see what happened to the new zombi and ex-living customer and noticed some people have been taken care of Sanctu biggrin_o.gif

And finally after walking slowly in some empty streets , he met a zombi friend in front of a Shakelton Auto Repair [64, 82] that has secured doors and is located in East Greyside

You have to search multiple times, and preferably inside of buildings. I.E. I searched about 15 times in a row inside a police department, and I got five or six items.

Ah crap. Went through Fort Creedy, and then had to go looking for a place to rest. Find myself in an autoshop with a four zombies inside.

I went to the parslow cinema to meet you Sanctuary only to find it heavily baricaded. I guess you can enter strongly it's heavily that you cannot enter.

  What I came to realize is even If I could get in you wouldn't be there lol. Took me a while to notice you said Parslow building not cinema. Oops heh heh.

   I couldn't get back into the police station I left, luckily I found another one with about 30 people in that was only strongly barricaded.

   Well every one I'll save up some action points for tomorrow. We really need to come up with a rendezvous point.

Ok I couldn't resist and used up my action points searching the police station. I found a shotgun shell, a flack jacket, and an another pistol clip (still no pistol).

I used one action to load the shotgun and wasted one on the flack jacket I think. I clicked on the flackjacket which used up an action point, yet gave me the message "you are already wearing the flack jacket." Grrrrr.

Sanc Tuary is now in a bad situation, he moved out of AP and is now currently inside the Kerle Arms building [72, 43] in Peppardville , with 4 people and a zombi.

I shot at the zombi but missed.

Not sure the character Sanc Tuary will live for long if the other people are out of AP too.

If by luck he will survive , he will try to find a relatively safe place around this area to get more AP back, so we can have a safe rendez vous location.

From what i read, the flak jacket is useless against zombi attacks, it will only protect against pistol and shotgun damages.

But it is interesting to wear a flack jacket, just in case you meet some demented living , or if you die (as you will then have a zombi very well armored).

heh i didnt know that either tounge2.gif so i just spent my intire 50 AP searching the police station i am in and found a pistol, 2 clips, 2 flak jackets, 2 flares, and 2 shotgun shells. (But sadly no shotgun sad_o.gif )

Looks like ill have to wait intill tommorrow to test out my flares on some zombies wink_o.gif

You might be better of saving them for just signaling lol. The accuracy rate on those is so low it probably wont make up for the damage done. (2.5% accuract and 15% with basic firearms training)

1. Don't fire flares! They'll only attract all the zombies close to your position.

2. Look out for Keith Baker, he's one of the PKs that make flak jackets useful.

He was last seen dead in front of my police station in Dunningwood, after we killed him. tounge2.gif

3. All the usefull and barricaded buildings (policestations, hospitals...) are not as save as you might think. Because of the many survivors suspected inside of them, they are often attacked by large zombiegroups.
