johnwilso007 0 Posted February 18, 2006 just thought id update everyone with my first missin for the campain. i got my team all set up, and when dialing out for the first time, walters voice says "chevron 1 locked." read somwhere that someone that wanted this to be in the dial out so after a long time of messin around it worked. considering giving all the main people voices in the game aswell.(not to shre about that part though). thanks to everyone that has advised me and helped me get this far. think i no all that i need to know so thanks to everyone. johnwilso007 0 Posted February 18, 2006 hey guys just come up accross a little bug with the original stargate release. on my mission i put a .sqs file script so that the gate dials out automatically about a 3rd of the way into the mission. the only problem is that the ai wont come through the stargate. when i dial out myself they do any ideas? TheWraith 0 Posted February 18, 2006 im still using that Stargate Worlds v1 addon using the star wars buildings n stuff, very viable as a beta site with 8 additional worlds only bug i found was the main town hall on 1 planet the buildings not mapped right and you end up Under the building steps  : /  other than that its great i wish to god someone would KILL that 2 way kill script   i had a little look into the SG_DHD.pbo and nothing in my head clicked, so i gots no idea how to  (for now) i like the idea of the newer gate with onscreen display but to be honnest, i think its a bit to advanced and over the top for SG-1 "dont get me wrong its genius idea"  and i like it BUT.... ide of actualy just killed the 2way disaster script (as a temp fix for now) would be nice having a dhd (for BX gate) that dont make everyone die.... yet as stylish as it currently dials i can do withought the 2 way (its not like they show'd it happen in the show) also its NOT actualy been proven that you'll die stepping the wrong way (besides in OFP) lmao i bet im not the only one sick of jaffa and team mates dying i like the BX gate and the DSF DHD (ide like to still keep em) [MINUS the death script]   and i would personaly prefer the 1.02 to be diffrent file names (so were not forced to choose a mod between the 2 dhd's & gates) although i figure it'll be DSF_Stargate  so a no kill SG_dhd.pbo for now would be awsome also having the Tablet will only realy provide the Point of origin you'll still need to no the rest of the address "your dialing to" a tablet shows the planet your on {not were your going to} also this may sound odd, but fans will get what im saying, ide of saved the On screen style for an Atlantis dialer & Gate (also maybe a jumper with a heads up window display) hope this helps (i never made this though) http://www.wraith517.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Atlantis/AtlantisSim.htm by the time 1.2 is released its gona be so advanced and way far above most peoples heads & capability Jack g1,g2, EXEC bal bla  (made much more scence for noobs) "like me"  lmao although i like the tablet idea, its gona be a nightmare to make missions (for me anyway) also the Current Jaffa are in the style of "Apophis Serpant Gaurds" would be best to sort them out (as in thier name & class) because as soon as someone makes a setesh Jaffa or any other type, any missions with "JAFFA" will be tits up  jaffa have diffrent helmets with diffrent goaulds symbols on thier forhead (also a gold textured jaffa with face 23) would do as apophis him self, season 1 style hope nothing ive posted is taken to heart, just tryna inform from an ofp noob perspective & a fan im not that big a geek on stargate no more, but i was LOL ps StargateFXandAudio.pbo  currently at 15MB Landorin i had a look at the mission (man thats way beyond my skill) i even learnt a bit my self from lookin at your files (the little helper was a great idea to, ofp is to complex for me) could do with an "autosave" point as he exits the Truck  can i add your Music ogg & horn1 wav to my audio addon ? It stopped after most of the team left and no-one else was interested in joining, i still have a few models around though, including the death glider, sgc, fully working gate and dhd, fully working sgc gate with computers, and a malp and uav with remote control scripts.
