Benthenoob 0 Posted April 9, 2006 http://ofp.gamepark.cz/index.php?showthis=5457 on this link is a landing craft and i thought it could just be recoloured with the british paint scheme , so then people in there missions could have a couple of jeeps driving out and disembarking on a secret mission or something but the guy said its alrite to recolour the ship just read the text
jtec 0 Posted April 9, 2006 We currently have a lot of other addons that require our time at the moment and adding another "re-mapp" to our already large amount of work will just slow us down. If you have any ideas however of something that is much needed for the British side of things then post in our addon ideas section PUKF homepage ... Please note that you should use the search funtion before making such posts as we may have had already a lot of things covered

It depends on How easy it is to get the units converted into the game, and to see if improvements can be made! If however it is a fail with the community i have no reason to believe that UKF will stop making addons.... My opinion on the matter is, where the community is, UKF will be too... Messiah 2 Posted April 10, 2006 hmmm, a little morning fun before i go and spend and absurd amount of time queing in the post office 1: We've released plenty, and will continue to do so 1a: Holding off isnt the correct term. Continuing is. 1b: Like swift said, it depends entirely how easy it is to port across, and how much change has occured with respect to addons. Some will invetably receive a face lift if not an entire new model. 2: My opinion, after the release of Arma, Doubtful. 2a: I refer you to 1a. 2b: A very good question. I dont think we'll drop support instantly, we'll wait some time to move with the community to arma and phase out our support. But if the coding etc of the addons is the same, then supporting both games isnt much of a challenge.
stegman 3 Posted April 10, 2006 Swift response chaps. Like it. I like the British units you've made so far, i'd just like have a whole army. No offence to the US army, but all games, all movies (and alot of books too) are mostly about the US Army or Marine Corp. It's a welcome change to see HRH's lads on the screen. Good work. Also, there seems to be a lot of military traffic lately coming down from Brecon. I hope its the end of a training exercise not a bird flu precaution! Messiah 2 Posted April 11, 2006 Quote[/b] ]UKF NEWS 11th April 2006 First of all, appologies for the lack of news since the 27th. Its just been a rather hectice few weeks in the real world for all of the UKF team, as well as being busy on a few of our current projects. Never-the-less here is a quick news item to keep you all going till I have something more substantial to show you. The first item of news is our UKF Affiliation Project. Essentially if you or your squad use our addons in your missions (be they multiplayer, single player) or you generally have a operation flashpoint site dedicated to the british side of things then we want to create an archive of all those sites on our site here. The idea behind this project is that someone who stumbles across our addons for the first time would have a long list of websites where they can get SP missions to tinker with, and a selection of Multiplayer squads they can join to enjoy our addons to their full potential. If you're interested, as a few squads already have been, please post the relevant imformation in THIS THREAD. Once we have enough squads and sites listed, we will be creating an 'Affiliation' section to the site, and posting news on our front page about it. Second bit of news is the progress being made on the Wolf Land Rovers. Whilst there is a fair bit of work to be done on the hardtop versions and some of the other versions that you'll have to wait to see yet..... As per usual, the rest of the news post and the pictures can be found on Our Site
