Humvees sound and look cool, but I must ask if there are any plans for a CH-46?

You kidding me, you ever hear a Humvee in real life? They sound like shit!

But I do indeed agree about the CH-46... we've gone too long without one, and hopes of getting the one from "Independence Lost" are pretty much hopeless.

Fischkopp if you need walkaround photos of practically anything in the US Marine inventory I'm your man ;)

I got to ride in the back of a humvee Last summer at Fort Pickett but I forget what they sound like.

They also allowed me to start it up. It doesn't require a key!

Correct me If I am wrong, but humvees have diesel engines dont they?  rock.gif

Hi, i've been working retexturing the LSR_Delta Operator model for make it wear a woodland Marpat BDU; only remains to end that part, 2 textures and make all the wound textures; there's one part that i can't do, and it's rip the config to make it work. LSR gave me permission to take his units (EVER, that if i'll get to release something, i SHOULD give full credits) like in all "my" addons there's ever something that i can't do by myself; those units may serve this mod as USMC FR units?.

P.D: i'll like to have some info about the current status of all the USMC flying shit if it were possible; i may have some 512x512 USMC AV8-B textures if u want to check 'em... just PM me a mail, i'll be glad to send 'em to you. Let's cu.

yes the AV-8 looks sharp! arround the cockpit section it looks really good!

maybee the SF humvee has too many fuel canisters on the back>? Are you going to make a fake SAW on swingarm? and I would also add some armour to the SF humvee turret... Some also have SAW on swingarm to the back and sit in the back allong with the kit...

looking elite guys keep it up!

I will add nothing anymore on the HMMWV. My M240G or Earl/Suchy M249 SAW would only increase the poly count from 6000 to about 8000 ... too many rock.gif. About the canister ... not too many. They have alway a lot with them cos often they have to go far into in enemy areas. So they have to take a lot of fuel and water canisters with them ... my HMMWV had theoretical 14 canister fuel and 4 water ... as example.

Danish SpecOp HMMWV

American SpecOp HMMWV

You can see that they really take a lot of canister with them.

... and yes I will add AT-Weapons on the vehicle ... to prevent me for demandings.

Today i started with model bugfixing (in O2Light) and doing the woodland camo versions (texture swapping). If i will not encounter bigger problems it could soon be done. Together with the CH-53, LAV´s (need also some bugfixing) and HMMWV´s we will have good basic for USMC.

For the infantry I considered to make a "placeholer" addon ... instead of my soldiers there will be a dummy soldier (org. BIS model). This a solution till somebody helps finishing the infantry (pray to god that will finally happen ...).

I think the next step will be finishing my M1A1 ... don´t ask about avation stuff. Ground vehicles and objects have for me a higher priority. I work on them only if i get bored ...

Man, your the reason that I still play OFP against other fps games. No matter what little details everybody wants, I'd take it like you have it. Hell, I'll even paint it myself tounge_o.gif
