The Kumlinge Island were I've been working on is done.

Both Winter and Summer versions are done.

Upcoming: Didn't have time to complete the MP-mission pack yet. But I'm still busy on it and it's coming to you this chirstmas. For now, you've to do it with the converted ofp missions. Thank you for your patience ;). No new islands will be released by me, becuase I need to start working on some new mission which is more important than the island itself.

though i wouldnt call it finnish, becouse it has about 80% swedish village and location names (yeah, blame me for that)

i can tell you, its a beautiful little island..

and the next thing ill say should maybe hav a own thread, but i noticed Ares (aka instructor) has releaced new verions of all his islands (Emsalö (has a light version now), Kodiak and Ancylus)

Most Finnish islands have Swedish names, as do most locations along the Finnish coast. So it's still Finnish, damn it.

ugh, those pic are ofcourse from an earlier version, my mistake. The forest ground in the new version has changed from dirt to forest from Karalja.

Blame FDFmod, it's their traditional Ostrobothnian jussipaita-sweater.

I'll never own one, unless somebody with a sick sense of humour and a death wish buys me one.

am am very much avare of this ;) but the names ar borrowd from real swedish locations (and some finnish coastal towns) ;)

Very nice Island  

Found one bug though: On the road between Blyberg and Furudal, a few hundred meters after Blyberg there is a piece of road missing. On the map there is a tree displayed on the middle of the road.

Very strange indeed... I drove a few times over that road to test the sand road.

edit: W0lle, hehe, you're missing the sand road.

right there were you don't see the road, there should be a T junction to a sand road. Are you sure you got the latest BETA from Instructor (aka Ares) ?

This is the Kumlinge topic, and I am aware of the problem. The only way to fix it is to use the older version which still can be found at ofp.info I think.

Great island Berghoff. I loved playing the Beta which was only the summer version.

Note to community;

Note that the island used only custom trees and no BIS OFP bitmap trees at all!! I think that's pretty important and it makes the island look fantastic.

Just had a little walk-arround on the island and it's really great. Nice towns and very nice forests!

But after i downloaded Kumlinge Island and the new house.pbo (haus.pbo) i get an error-message when i start the Haliuoto Island Beta v1.1

Afaik Haliuoto Island Beta v1.1 is using the "old" HousePack. Would be nice if this could be fixed, cause i really enjoyed to play on this one, too.
