Ironsight 1 Posted December 3, 2004 AfrographX has released his NH 90 - CSAR. This is a beta version and you are free to finish the bird, esspecially to improve the scipts. I decided to release my Nh90, since I'm leaving the ofp community. The heli still has some minor bugs, that's why I would call it a beta. But I won't work on the addon anymore. So feel free to edit and improve the the NH90. Credits go to Bas for the Cargo Script and Ofrp for their fantastic Winch, Rappel and Dust Script. Special thanks to Helifreak and Dammi for the experience and knwoledge they chared with me and thanks to all the others who helped me with this addon! orson 0 Posted December 3, 2004 Its a great model ( lacking a shadow LOD but thats easy to make ) There seem to be a lot of non planar faces , but you cant spot them in game so who cares . T.S.C.Plage 0 Posted December 3, 2004 um american verision?the US military does not use this I heard some rumors that the USAF is interested to get some for CSAR. Maybe Lockheed Martin gets a contract to assemble some NH-90s in the closer future to fit all these american laws about imported weaponsystems and stuff. Anyways this addon is really nice. It still needs some tweaking but the mainpart is done very well and it's good to have this chopper in OFP now. Guest Posted December 3, 2004 I just downloaded this addon and i must say it's very very impressive, i'll back it up on CD straight away! I noticed one bug in the addon where the winch cable was still viewable ever though i had retracted both it and the winch back into the chopper itself. calm_terror 0 Posted December 3, 2004 nope the US is buying designs of the EH101 airframe. not this things. germany is liek the only large major military power to use this thing. france is suppost to buy it but it looks liek it is jsut germany, belguim, neitherlands, and denmark. the saundis are also lookign at getting it but that is not confirmed. Getting backon topic: major gandhi/afrographX its a damn shame you are leaving the community. This is a good quality model. Good luck in whatever you decide to do next.
