Crouched movement

Recommended Posts

This does not use scripting and does not overwrite the anim.pbo.

I spent all day working on it and felt like showwing it off, even though everything won't be ready for some time. By the way, the M14s are 99% done.

Wow, they look great. And the same to those units wow_o.gif

Does it work in any way like the USMChandsignals that were released in conjunction with a mission not long ago?

Looks great but i do feel that the guy would be rather unstable in that position.

Is it a static anim or a complete sequence?

Complete sequence. I don't know how the hand signals are used but it works just like any other movement you would normally do.

My earlier comment was based on the fact of not knowing whether the anim was static or a sequence, now i know that it is a sequence then i say that it looks great and would indeed be very useful for being able to move to a new covering position.

Great looking weapon as well.

Yeah, I'm gonna try and emulate the Rogue Spear movement. Crouch will have side to side, backwards, etc. I will also make a faster version where you are hunched over.

I have already done some different walking animations, which are smoother.

The crouch looks a little strange with the gun up, but I wanted you to be able to shoot. I may be able to make an AI version without it.

looks really nice. id liek to replace the default anim.pbo crouch movment with this... then again i dont think it has a crouch movment (hence the standing up and running)

the only thing is the stationary crouch

crazy_o.gif but if i could replace the anim.pbo ones with your's then i would leave dreamyknights crouching one smile_o.gif

Pappy, it's not stationary. Just looks like it because the legs are passing eachother.

It's built into the unit.

Awesome! Crouched movement finally!

And...GENERIC gorillas!!! I have been thinking about making these for quite some time, cause we need em. I don't want to fight russians anymore or any certain country, just generic units...

btw, at first I thought that was americas army or something, didn't even recognize it as opflash!

It's built into the unit.

Will this automatically transfer to other units then as long as your .pbo is installed?

Or will it only work on your units?

Would addon makers have to edit their own units to use this?

Only works on my units. But you can refer to the moves it uses to get it to work and it would probably be possible to make a mod that causes all units to use it.

Some generic guerrillas I have been working on.

These units look pretty sweet can you tell us if they will be available to us mere mortals in the not too distant future or are you keeping them all to yourself.

Did all of the slow crouched (rice paddy prone) movement, gotta do fast crouched (hunched over) movement now. I have been procrastinating when it comes to OFP stuff recently.

Got a lot more stuff to do for the units so it will be a while.

That would be "guerillas," unless you are talkiing about the great apes.

Just saying.... But then, I've been drinking a bit.
