NOTE! Due to large size of installer .exe, some firewall/software programs might hang during installation. You can try to disable .exe scanning, or if you're uncomfortable with that, extract files from installer .exe using WinRAR. From personal experience, at least Tiny Personal Firewall 2.0.15 has bug which results to problems with installer when MD5 checksumming option is turned on, which might result even to bluescreen. Reason why installer asks for net access (if one is available, it is not mandatory for installation) is that it checks for possible news updates on FDFMod home page and displays them on installer screen before unpacking files. Bug workarounds: As with every FDFMod release, there are some bugs and some of them affect gameplay pretty seriously - UZI bug / Paramilitary 3 fix  - copy your FDF_w12.pbo and rename it to FDF_w13.pbo Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I got it before the server died :P Oddly enough the install didn't extract all the files at first so I had to install it again to a different directory, got 'em all this time. feersum.endjinn 6 Posted June 16, 2004 Server is in Finland, so european clients might get it very fast or very slow, just depending on where you do live. Also, some firewall software which do .exe file scanning get bite they can't chew with almost 500MB installer .exe, so if you dare, you might want to disable .exe file scanning on your firewall software. At least version of Tiny Firewall I'm using (last free one, can't remember exact version) has problems with that installer, even resulting on fw software crash to blue screen.
