ag_smith 0 Posted June 22, 2004 I don't fully understand what you mean, but what I'd do is to simply base your addon config on MCAR's TOW humvee and make PSY_MCAR required addon for your humvees. Eventually, that's what that addon was made for, right?
sa8gecko 0 Posted June 23, 2004 What ag_smith said is true, but, FischKopp, you still have to modify the p3d model a little (nothing visible or ruining the aesthetic of the car, though). Really it could be done without modifying the p3d model, but then the scripts would need to be modified ... At the moment we are a little busy, so we can't be very helpful, at least this week. Anyway I could give you instructions how to modify your p3d model: very quick and easy to do. So, for the moment, you could modify the config.cpp of the unit so it points to the PSY_MCAR_scripts directory (still a easy thing, I could do that for you, along with some other modifications to make the scripts work). This way you could have an idea how your finished addon will work. Then, when we will release the final scripts, you could simply modify the cpp and link to them, or embed them in your files, if you'd like these scripts to be tailored upon your needs (that is, a different missile model and hitting power, or a different guidance code). If you choose to link directly to our files, what you'll need is the PSY_MCAR_ammo.pbo for the missiles, and the PSY_MCAR_scripts.pbo file for the scripts. hmmwv 0 Posted June 29, 2004 Hey Fischkopp, if you finally decide to make for your great pack a M-1114, i have a number of pictures of the interior and exterior. Just send me a PM if you need them
Placebo 29 Posted June 30, 2004 FischKopp the forum rules clearly state that the maximum allowed size for hotlinked images is 100kb, you've been around long enough to know the rules..... I removed three images well over 500kb on page 3, two images over 100kb on page 7 & four images over 200kb on page 8. Hmmwv you also posted 2 images over 100kb on page 7. SNIPER_SKULL you reposted four images over 200kb on page 9. As you've all flagrantly ignored the rules in this thread I have no choice but to give you WL+1 and 48hr PR each. However due to the fact that the offences went unnoticed for quite some time I will suspend the punishments, follow the rules in the future and all will be well, any future problems will result in this thread being taken into account. Well first of all sorry for the problems may i´ve produced with the linking of these two images with a size bigger than allowed. I haven´t flagrantly ignored the rules intentionally; just i didn´t pay attention in these moment to the size. If you se carefully, image posted June 22 2004,10:23, i cropped the image for not to exceed allowed size. Simply it was a negligence. Anyway i think talk about punishements for post just 2 images sounds a little bit strong. (word punishement sounds very very bad in itself, like used with criminals, maybe penalty sounds better) Anyway there are rules and i accept them.So it will not happen again in the future. Placebo 29 Posted July 1, 2004 Baaah you're all criminals in my eyes Don't sweat it too much, now you've been pulled up for it I'm sure it won't happen again
