I have 9.0b for like 100 years and never had this problem with OFP. sorry for the first part. That pisses me off about computers. Too many addons! OFP can't handle that! Use -nomap or delete some addons.
Gordy 0 Posted May 7, 2004 I have around 2.01 GB of addons and I'm using -nomap parameter already.

Antichrist 0 Posted May 7, 2004 I have around 2.01 GB of addons and I'm using -nomap parameter already. That is strange, cause for me it used to be solved by -nomap every time!

Gordy 0 Posted May 7, 2004 C'mon, I am frustrated because I can't use this mod. Why are you trying to offend me?
void_false 1 Posted May 7, 2004 go and delete your sucking post. or at least edit it. If you have nothing to tell then STFU.
bucket man 2 Posted May 7, 2004 It was not that bad void_false. He just said it sucks that he cant get the mod working. I think he didnt mean this mod. Well anyway about this mod. Great job! Units, faces, weapons and vehicles are good. What I would like to see is high res islands and some changes in the equipment of PLA. The 70's units should be armed with SKS and RPD and some chinese rocket launcher wouldnt hurt either. Nothing big and I can replace those weapons in the editor if I like. Overall I like this mod very much. Quality is way above average and I thought this mod was dead long ago but happily was proven wrong. Keep up the good work! void_false 1 Posted May 7, 2004 if it is true then excuse me, Gordy It was my fault. I invite you to virtual beer Now about the MOD. I've d\led it and played a little. What was the most interesting thing imo, it was training guns! They're rock! now we can play *real* paintball in OFP
andylee054 0 Posted May 7, 2004 Yes, the training exercise will be the most important part in our next upcoming campaign. We will set up a lot of missions in simulating Mile-2000 with blank firing attachment. Hope you like it.
Gordy 0 Posted May 7, 2004 if it is true then excuse me, Gordy  It was my fault. I invite you to virtual beer  Now about the MOD. I've d\led it  and played a little. What was the most interesting thing imo, it was training guns! They're rock! now we can play *real* paintball in OFP  I am unable to use it. I am not in position to judge the mod itself just because it is not working on my OFP. It requires Dx8 even though I have 9.0b installed. The mod itself most is propably great. void_false 1 Posted May 7, 2004 Did you tried you tried to remove addons from AddOn folder? I'm not talking about erasing 'em at all but moving them to some temp folder. Quote[/b] ]It requires Dx8 even though I have 9.0b installed. lol, this makes me laugh
Gollum1 0 Posted May 7, 2004 Played about 5 campaign missions, the campaign and units were great otherwise but maybe it's just me, it killed a bit of the enjoyment to have to play on old, old CWC islands with ugly CWC civilians as enemies. Nogova and Resistance soldiers should have been used, mixed with Resistance civilians. Now it just looks outdated... Weapon sounds, models, soldiers and vehicles are good so far, weapon textures could use improving, the colors are a bit off in some places, a few of the rifles look pink and many rifles have small multicolored splotches that mar the whole, and aren't all that high quality. I might post some example pics later. The campaign missions are inventive and overall well-made, they gave me many good mission ideas, but the speech made with synthesizers sounds a bit bad, I would have left it out rather than use a synthesizer. I like the new terrain, and the scope and depth of this mod is incredible, there are so many units and weapons. I must again mention the weapon sounds, they are very good, it's common for mods and addons to have very poor sounds for even their most basic weapons. Will play some more later, now I'm off to see van Helsing with some mates. Good work ROC mod.
ZIKAN 0 Posted May 7, 2004 Nice work indeed, some nice effects. Particulary like the mortar smoke trails etc. However some of the textures IMO need refining as they seem to be to inconsistant across much of the vehicles. For example the LVT is a great model but the luminous green paint job is a bit to harsh and just doesnt seem to fit in with the subdued textures of the other vehicles. Also had some error messages with using the groups in the editor: No entry 'Config.bin/cfg vehicles. ROC_T57RMGSoldier Had problems getting it to work initially also, had to make a new shortcut for v1.96 and add ROC mod folder manually, but seems to work ok now.
