Well, if Sony wins, then the Army can always rely on Microsoft to provide them with controllers. The only problem would be if Microsoft simply shipped a load of the older monster controllers: "NOOO! I can't reach the Fire button!"

Maybe every soldier will carry their own controller so you can't drive a vehicle without it? As USA mainly operates in undeveloped countries the enemy can't use any vehicles they might conquer as there are no playstation controllers in the country and the people don't know how to use it.

Why would it be easy with better accuracy?

When you buy a new game for PS2, it takes time to get use to the controls so wouldn't the soldiers need time to get use to the new ones. What about when they on leave they play a game with O being move but in the tank O is shoot. And whats with the accuracy, MOH: Rising sun is quite hard ti aim at anything.

Console games and shooting do not mix, especially shooting with accuracy, and that is all down to the controllers.

You can't get any more precise than that.

Realistically, that setup would probably take up way too much space compared to a ps2 controller and get easily broken.

Even so. I find the playstation 2 controller for doing precision aiming in games like timesplitters 2 really really hard on my thumb, because you have to hold it at an awkward angle for a really long time. Whereas with a mouse it's infinitely more precise and allows for a quicker response time.

Even so. Regardless of whether or not you're a CS reject. It stands to reason. Keyboard + mouse just makes much more sense.
