im thinking, why not replacing the UH60 (with rockets) with the BAS UH60 DAP? (and removing the cargo capacity)

naaah, bad thought, it will screw up a lot of missions....

'black' blackhawks are special forces variants

'normal' blackhawks are camoed(euro, desert, ect) or grey.

Simply not true....

"black" blackhawks are NOT all special forces variants, the US Army operates plenty of UH-60L's in black paint. And "normal" blackhawks are NOT camo'd. "Normal" blackhawks are ALL either Olive-drab or black (all the same colour)

The camo'd and grey 'hawks are ALL Pavehawks, which are the USAF Special Operations Command helicopters, used for Special Forces insertions/extractions, combat search and rescue (with PJ rescuemen) and airbase defence.

Edit: With the exception of the grey Seahawks, which are a totally different kettle of fish. (Excuse the pun)

So, as Landwarrior correctly pointed out, they should be the "normal" UH-60L model, and NOT the MH or HH models.

im interested in the Ah-64 you have in this pack, did u consider releasing it as a stand-alone for people who cant use your mod? pretty pretty pretty please... sorta like a special like you did with the regular bis cars.

How would I make the exploding bodies work on other mods or the original game, because I cant use other addons with this pack since I get a error from having too many addons.

It would be cool to get this to work on other mods or in the original game.

first off try mod folders

second off try the -nomap in your startup line

third off try removing some usless addons that you didnt even know you had

lastly. .. check the forumms for a thing called "Effect PAck" its by some russian dude. . .the instructions on how to use it are in there

Doesn't the 1.96 patch eliminate the "too many addons" problem? Maybe you should download that.

I have 1.96 and still had the error, but the -nomap extension seems to do the trick, I have like 300 addons runnning with Y2k3 and no problem yet.

In some missions, i am having a error message saying "Cannot load mission, missing addon: bas_weap" even if the mission doesn't require bas addons. And searching on my addons folder of ecp mod, I have the file BAS_Weap.pbo there. Please pappy help me again. Thank you smile_o.gif

most likely one of the units in the mission is using weapons from BAS_weap.pbo. for example the machine gunner uses the m240 from the addon studio. i found that u can fix this problem by adding "bas_weap" to the addons section in the mission.sqs file. use pbodecryptor to open the mission pbo file and add it in.

hmm..for some reason the fire from the planes and choppers doesnt damage the player. is there a easy fix for this?

Everything looks so good in this mod, but the resistance troops look like ass.

really? i thought it was just a small error in the scripting as the one that works (on the tanks) and the ones that dont (planes and choppers) are virtually the same. is it possible to just link the script to ECP's player damage script so that when the fire comes out, the ECP script is activated?

edit: fixed the problem using ECP's damage script

Brutal_Impact do you mean the soldier model? they do look kind of blocky as they are default BIS soldier models (i think). As for the textures, i find nothing wrong with it.

the plane and helos have seperate fire scripts which dont have the dammage factor. sorry

Can somone make this mod compatible with the Finish Defense Force mod? Those units are awsome, I just wish I could use them with this mod.

i just changed the model paths of the handgrenades with that of the bomber penguin (sprengu) biggrin_o.gif

heres a bit of advice, do not stand next to physco bomber penguin and shoot him. . . not a good idea tounge_o.gif

Does this mod install any undead units? Like skulls and skeletons and stuff? I downloaded a bunch of stuff the other night and I can't figure out why I have all that crap now. crazy_o.gif

does anyone know the section name for the armpatch on the bas crews? right now its displaying its airborne armpatch and i want to add in into hidden selections.

yea it does. . . thats form the effects pack (exploding bodies)

i guess i could try hideing those things i dunno if it would work or not

@bas crews

the bas armpatch isnt a hidden selection (i tried and talked to deadmeat.... needs to be retextured)

Any chance you can put up a quick-fix for the 'BAS_weap' error Pappy?

I am playing through the CWC campaign again with the mod and i don't get to see any intro's due to geting the error crazy_o.gif

Also the Hummer doesn't seem to be changed to the addon version (forgot the name) and when someone gets in the passenger seat they end up still in the 'opening door' anim but sticking out of the roof crazy_o.gif

Other than that, great mod....lovin' it!!

(Would be cool if you could replace the original motorbike with the BAS KLR-250)
