All replacements can be done via configs as we did in our CSLA2 rip... look in our thread. I don't want to see that peoples rip-off from our PBOs some models or textures without our permission! VALKYRIE 0 Posted March 27, 2004 @Pappy the CSLA team did make a Russian skin for there hind and hip likewise although I am going by the screens on there site there all good however and I suppose its at your disgetion wether you change it. did you consider asking SILESIAN if you could use his apache skins for the longbow. @Maa your right asking for permission first is if nothing else good manners, although I think in this case Pappy has made the effort to stay true to the mod and not mess things up for those who already have it on there hard drives I hope your not to pissed at him , I for one am happy to finally see your work on my PC screen as I only have a 56K connection. That thing with messages (m113) really sucks, better other model as nervous messages that cancel the sequences. ... BAM 0 Posted March 28, 2004 Thanks for the reply Pappy:) I love the combo of replacement addons used in this config, especially the new M16/M203 along with the INQ weaponspack and combined USMC optics As for your own exploding soldiers effect, that is a great addition, but in its current state I think its just a bit too unrealistic. You could make the blood splats much smaller and dont make them shoot so high into the air or last anywhere near as long... just my own suggestion, I know this is your config and you made it to your own preference and im thankful you have decided to share it with the rest of us Im also glad you are continuing to work on it for the benefit of others, cheers m8 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Pappy Boyington 0 Posted March 28, 2004 diablo i got the unoffical answer on your problem Pappy Boyington: hey that (magic) bug how was that fixed again? i forget :-\ DeadMeat: its a too many addons problem DeadMeat: tho BIS hasnt offically commented on it the exploding bodies. thats from the effect pack from the russian guy (his name escapes me right now i have it listd somewhere. so the comments regaurding his effects should be directed toward him  quick update as i continue to work CSLA has about to put me at the very top of thier shitlist with this next release CSLA helos now have russian markings. turns out it was just a line in the hidden selections config  UAZG replaced by CSLA-GAZ UAZ replaced by CSLA-UAZ URAL and URAL Ammo replaced by CSLA-Ural BMP1 replaced by CSLA-BMP all with russian markins (same deal with the csla_car and csla_arm pbos they will contain only needed data for non-mod users and mod users will have no compatabilty problem if they keep thier current addons in tact (which since all the csla addons are 'locked' they prolly are intact ) edit: HH60G replaced with UH60L (scripts and animations intact. having a problem with the gun thou. looking into it) thanks for the wonderful comments. glad to see others are enjoying this as much as i  Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Pappy Boyington 0 Posted March 28, 2004 Ahh great.. but is it some of the addons SIZE or that I ahve to MANY ? over all size. say your addons folder is 1.2 gigs. then you have a few too many. and sometimes its just that one lil 56kb addon and other times u have to take out 5megs of addons. i recently had to clean my folder up. not due to errors. just had too many addons i wants using. if ur not using an addon stick it in a subfolder called "backup" and that way u can save them without having to run them new config and such will be uploaded soon check back within the next 2 hours this time im makin a release pic Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Here are my suggestions: -replace west soldiers with HYK `85 soldiers not 2003 as it`s not realistic in campaigns -replace the russian sniper with the Autorifleman model from Suchey and Earl it blends more with the rest of the soldiers this way -Could you add the rest of the effects from the effect pack?They are extremly high-quallity and better then ecp or gmr explosions. Pappy Boyington 0 Posted March 28, 2004 Slight problemIn the BoH and CSLA pack, latest version, there is no BoH air pbo. shit shit shit how did i miss the BOH thing >_< alright ill reupload it. my applogies Re '85 soldiers. no can do. im 'updateing' ofp to bring it into the 2003 2004 era. i got sick and tired of the 1985 era. plus all of todays addons are from. .well today so i wanted to update ofp to be able to keep up with the times. wil update links to edges resistance soldiers. sorry m113 error. im sure we all get it i cant fix that problem however. the only way to do it is list the required addons via the config. but ofp's main config doesnt have a secion for that only preload addons which it is listed under russian sniper: will look into it effect pack: no i cant add in the rest as it A: lags slightly on my 1.5 when it explods and B: isnt MP compatable. if u use it in mp the tank explods 2 times. plus the 'dead' models dont look that good and if u check the radar of a helo or tank after u blow somehting up each on of those peices is classified as a live west peice so that lags even more. the body thing was the only thing that doesnt lag plus its a decent effect Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
