havocsquad 0 Posted March 10, 2004 Tex gets a free imaginary drink on me, unless you cheated of course. Explaination please Tex, where do you know it from? I'm asking because I have some juicy information about good recent updates to the game if you're interested. The game is really fun if you like a challenge. Â It's got a much better graphic engine than any harpoon versions out there now. Â It also incorporates a HUGE database of units which can be used in it's missions. +200 aircraft +200 ships +100 submarines +50 land objects LPI radars are also simulated in this game. If you've wanted to try out good simulation of how stealth aircraft truely provide an advantage in combat, play this game. Anyways, if any of you have an old Janes Fleet Command CD collecting dust, revive it and go to www.navalwarfare.net or sign up on the yahoo group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NWS-NWP Download all the required updates, and follow the FAQ's and NWS-NWP's instructions. Trust me, you won't be dissapointed.

der bastler 0 Posted March 10, 2004 4D Boxing? Nah.... Must be "TV Sports Boxing"... Edit: Definitely that's TV Sports Boxing by Cinemaware. Found it in "DOS International", Volume 11/1991, page 420 (Topic: ECES in London).

der bastler 0 Posted March 10, 2004 @bn880: Something like "Air Traffic Controller"? You know, these play-with-numbers games for people who like spread sheets... http://www.intelligamer.com/action/solesurv/sole03.gifIt might not be what you think it is Isn't it this one-man-army multiplayer variant of Command and Conquer --Sole Survivor? Not a highlight of Westwood, imo... Apropos Westwood:

sanctuary 19 Posted March 11, 2004 Some of the games i enjoyed during my computer gaming career This first one , on the MO5 (a computer made by Thomson , creator of TO7 just before the MO5) In this game there was lot of langage choices and it was made of several minigame. The second one , on the CPC 464 , based on a famous english champion (it was available on C64 too). I killed a joystick , playing this game The third one , on the Atari ST , a well known title that had a great success on Amiga 500 too. A great game that had its sequel some time after. The fourth one , easier to guess , on the PC : it was THE game that decided me to buy a PC , i still play it sometime even now !
