Nilz 0 Posted January 27, 2005 :: ANNOUNCEMENT :: Ey all the OFP community. We are definitely not done. Anyways the team has decided that since there are so few info about Estonian War of Independence out there, then we will do an EDF (Estonian Defence Forces) mod instead Right now really nothing is done. One of the modellers is working on Volvo TGB 11 right now. Our goal at the moment is to finish and texture all the vehicles and weapons. We will do soldiers later but I guarantee you, we will definitely make most of the EDF battalions (Kuperjanovi, Pärnu, Scouts etc). When EWI mod pretty much stopped, then most of the team scattered away, so right now there are only 3 members in the team: me and 2 modellers. We need a texturer right now for sure. Missionmakers and stuff like that later... I don't care how long it's gonna take to finish this one, but we will finish it for sure. Thank you. P.S. I am pretty sure thats an estionian unit which operates in Iraq as a peace keeping force as i do know they are over in Iraq. Combat Chaplain 0 Posted January 31, 2005 For what it's worth, I'm disappointed that the Estonian War of Independence will not be completed for OFP... I recognize that there's not much information on that war, and that it's not within the most common OFP mods, but I like esoteric mods like that myself. I have only seen Estonian soldiers in Iraq through TV.Hope that they will make woodland camo soldiers too and some cannons and transportation.Some years ago i read from the newspaper that Estonia will buy some tanks and fix them.But now we bought pasis.(FDF mod has one) edit* If you can then please make Estonian voice for that soldier too. Not that it would be bad that Estonia is indepent, but my parents went there for shopping for 2 days Hmm haven't been in Tallinn for a while. Would be kinda cool to have a Tallinn map in Flashpoint, of course one with Mustamäe tori (i'm not sure how it's written) and Merekeskus. Edit: Yeah, but I see EWI changed to EDF then...
