some large sized low poly office buildings (like 4 or 5 storeis) would also be great for areas away from the "big city" area. Like next to your Best Buy. A few different banks are also a necessity. Then take some of those low poly office buildings and retexture them into crappy apartment buildings mith maybe some graffiti on the side. I also have a request for any one, its easy and simple and would be fun for maps such as this. ya know how theres white "H" 's for heli that you can place anywhere? why not make a few body chalk lines and police tape barriers for crime scenes. Also someone needs to make a garbage truck bad for this island. Make some low poly mounds and just texture them with anything and everything to give the feeling of nasty trash piles.

Yeah definately, It'd be awesome to see lots of urban islands.

To Sgt. Stryker: That crime scene idea sounds really cool. I'll definately look into that. I'll make dumpters and piles of trash too, all good ideas.

oh my god this looks very sweet! I always wanted myself a more urban place in ofp since day 1 because i've played alot of cs before i got in to ofp

I have a small wish and i wish that you could make enterable sky scrapers but you don't have to be able to enter every room or every floor but still it would be very cool if you made it possible. I got a friend of mine that you maybe could talk to about adding a special thing to the sky scrapers maybe if its possible .. well keep up the good work. Post more screens plz btw

um around here (Illinois) we got Seven Elevens (7-11, Gas Station Quckie Mart kind of thing), Target (department store thing), Kohls (department store), McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys, Subway etc.

That'd be cool but I would'nt do it for a bunch of reasons. First it would be kind of useless, second it would use many polys, and third it would cause lag. If everyone had an awesome computer I'd make every single building enterable, but my computer isn't that great and many other's too.

I have an awesome computer. You can make two versions. Yeah, do it. I want a hostage situation... ever since those bastards ripped me off...

Plus perhaps a smaller island with some enterable urban buildings would be nice. Good for some civi missions. I mean, walking down a gigantic city with nowhere to enter can get a bit... repetitive?

nah all that stuff is too upper class suburbia, i think hes just sticking with mostly a urban setting. That school would take so much friggen polys its be ridiculous. Now just a plain simple school wouldnt hurt. I have another suggestion. Around your Best Buy buildings and such put more pavement. Another small parking lot in that back and alley roads to get to it. Make each building a little different pavement and stuff, even if its just brightness change. Traffic lights and tele poles are a must. And one sleazy strip club to top it off.

All cool suggestions, you guys can expect an enterable bank though, theres tons of mission possibilities for that. I'll make a high school or a college as well. A contruction site is a good suggestion too. Do you guys have an idea for what to make enterable in Chinatown? I might make an enterable restaurant or something like that that can be the Triad "headquarters". I think a dojo could be cool too.

on a few of the china town buildings make a hallway through them. make a restraunt maybe. construction site is a must. fire escapes are also a necessity for buildings. Use Agent Smiths stuff too (with permission of course) and a water/sewage plant too.

Better Chinatown

I added newpapers, longer banners and dumpsters (not pictured) to make Chinatown look more crowded, and to me it does. I'll be making an enterable restaurant this week, and it'll probably be done tomorrow or after tomorrow.
