Erm, I saw a Halo editing kit a while ago, I downloaded it, but I don't have the PC version of halo, so it wouldn't isntall

But you can edit maps and stuff with it ;)

Do you consider 2 days "Not lately"? Bumping threads doesn't get Master_Chief or Cribbian to respond, it only agitates them more. Sooner all of you see that the better.

well we are both pretty busy with our lives atm, but if I know MC right he'll post pix for ya guys soon. I havent been able to do much at al latly (working for my own mod etc) but I'll be back animating soon

Jarf, the question "is it dead" , or "update please?" is hated here, because it has no real value to the topic, show them how much you want to use the mod, and they might reply...

btw, with the animating thingy... have you considered releasing Covernant and Marines seporatly? (marines now, covernant when they have anims).

it could mean some very fun MP missions already .

allright... i'm still trying to figure out how to open those files... i've got Halo custom edition and the Halo Editing kit installed but cannot find anything about editing existing .map files

well its not dead, but a pre-Halo 2 release date is not possible, sorry. It will get released eventually, but it still needs a lot of work. I got sidetracked by another project because the Halo mod was in the boring phase (aka script debugging and model tweaks) but I make no apologies. I bet that playing Halo 2 will give me the boost of interest I need to finish it.

Don't worry, I'm still working on it. I was just taking a break from it to play Halo 2 I got a few good ideas from Halo 2 that I want to put in my mod, but I'm glad I never planned to make this a Halo 2 mod because Halo 1 is better.

well, yea, when i first played Halo1 i was like WOOOOOOOH!

and well, Halo2 is nice but doesnt give me that same feeling....

Hi MC and Halo mod. Everything is looking great and I'm waiting very unpateint to get to play this mod.

one question though: I hope you are making an new GUI, with kinda like in halo?
