earl 0 Posted July 24, 2006 More curve-stomping; there was great lighting at sunset today, these are taken out of my window. Â I'm having big issues with my laptop LCD, since a few degrees difference in vertical viewing angle makes a *big* difference in the appearance/curve of values, especially the bottom end of the darks. Â So I'm not really sure if I'm on target. I found tons of dust on the sensor, I was trying to get some longer exposures by tightening right up to f32 and exposing for 3-4 seconds. Â Those dust specs show up easily with such a small aperture. Â I stamped them out in photoshop, but will have to get that thing cleaned. goob, #5 works best for me, i like the expansive blue area. mi_fred, the first one is the strongest by far. Â nice colours. Peanut 0 Posted July 24, 2006 ------------ I hope this thumbnail function works, it's not the best pic, but whatever I tried I couldn't get it to a 100kb it all jumped between 103-118kb using different programs and qualities so I got tired of it and simply uploaded it, I hope you forgive me ok got it working ^^
Messiah 2 Posted July 24, 2006 has the one with the clouds had a long(ish) exposure? You really seem to get a sense of movement and flow in the picture
Peanut 0 Posted July 24, 2006 you mean the second one? No actually I made it out of a bus while it was going quite fast, I'm kinda glad and was really lucky to get that shot and no reflections of the window either I'm really new to photographing and got myself a Nikon Coolpix P2 for that trip, which is mostly enough for my usage (although it led me down while photographing baby seals standing less than 2 meters away from them, it simply was too dark at that place I think)
Peanut 0 Posted July 24, 2006 Kinda cheesy, but I like it photographed today and we got a freaking lot of butterflies in our garden but today there were almost only the white ones (normally we've got all kinds of )

Supah 0 Posted July 25, 2006 Hey cool Killagee that you actually are making some money of your photography. It is good enough to do so I've been stuck in a creative blackhole a bit recently where my non aviation photography is concerned. A Morane Solnier 406, used by the french airforce and extensively by the Finnish airforce against the russians. Junkers Ju-52, Famous WW2 Luftwaffe transport plane. A Jungman, a ww2 german primary trainer.
