It also promotes massive headaches wink_o.gif Nice shot, could be in a commercial with perhaps some improved lighting.

Total unedited, apart from resizing.. There was a pair (Well, two acctualy) of binoculars lying around, and the camera was near by, and that emerged..

It was taken in 2 seconds, just holding the binoculars/camera by hand, thus it's a little blurry, but it works okay IMHO..

It's a wind-vane btw tounge2.gif

Hm, I need to get around to uploading a bunch of photos I've taken a while ago.. Anyone suggest any decent batch resizers/thumbnail creator, or a better way of creating photoshop action sets (prefrably a sepearte program, as I hate recording/editing actions in Photoshop..)?

Here's my favourite shot, taken about a month ago:

3824733-lg.jpg

It was taken with the following settings 20s exposure, f11, ISO200 24mm, on a tripod mounted Canon 350D with a shutter release cable and mirror lockup enabled.

Mirror lock up on a 350D? How did you do that?

Anyway, all taken in Canada -> Newfoundland on a Fuji S5000

None hugely edited, some brightness/levels changes

{Edit : the quality is a bit low on some of the photos to shove them under the 100kb, so.. erhh.. squint your eyes a bit?}

Not much of a story behind this one. Took it this sunday while checking the family's summer cottage.

I had the pleasure of being invited, as a freelance photographer, to a live fire demonstration by the New Zealand Army smile_o.gif

Here are a few photo's from that day...

But no airforce to provide aircover for it crazy_o.gif two Su-25's could destroy all that with out a single bit of opposition.

The New Zealand Army will only enter into a conflict in support of a United Nations mission, where Aircover will be provided by allies. Mistral 2 VSHORAD launchers would also be deplyed if the situation required it...
