earl 0 Posted December 31, 2005 Whoa, lots of good photos in the last week. Â Hotshot, I like your last (dark fence and trees framing the field). Ironsight, I really like this one - http://img498.imageshack.us/img498/5344/bos59ij.th.jpg - except for the sky and the really strong 'sharpening'. Â I hope you don't mind, but I tried something with it.. dunno if it's any better but i love those sunbeams: And some of my own:

earl 0 Posted December 31, 2005 I've been playing around with white balance and colour balance in Photoshop. Â It was a classic campfire scene, but after I shifted midtones and highlights away from yellow and red, the usual daytime colours popped out. Â I like it a lot less today than when I created it. Â Levels are also adjusted, the original was underexposed. Â Original: original photo (resized) It's resized, but was 30sec exposure, ISO100, f3.5. Â I should have closed the shutter to 8 or more, because the camera can't get focus in these conditions, even with the flash assist, so it was manual (guesswork). Â I can't tell what's DOF blur and what's camera shake.
blackdog~ 0 Posted January 1, 2006 Roadtrip today... I don't want to amaze you too much with my talent, so I'll post some of the more mediocre pictures. Oh, and I HATE JPG BTW. I have more but I just joined a CTI game. (yes I, unlike 75% of the population on this forum that apparently just hangs around, still play the game... :])

GoOB 0 Posted January 1, 2006 Finally managed to pull the zooming-exposure trick off without too much blurriness. The man is Rickard Sjöberg aka Discolor. Check his wonderful electronica out @ http://www.bedroomrec.com/bands/releases/discolor.htm
theavonlady 2 Posted January 2, 2006 Nubian goat, female, Nachal Gishron, Eilat Mountains, Israel. (click on picture for larger version) She was travelling with another female. They were fearless enough to walk slowly at a distance of 10-12 meters from us. Oh, and they love cherry tomatoes.
blackdog~ 0 Posted January 2, 2006 Man, at that train museum I was at, I saw a bunch of goats. I should have taken a picture so I could add to the fun.
raedor 8 Posted January 2, 2006 After driving through Slovenia, we reached... right, Italy. We've been there some days, but I don't think I photographed anything good there (and the weather was bad ). So here the only shot I'll post from Italy. Our home there was near Piacenza, maybe you remember it, there the NATO planes started to Kosovo: 1000x667 Again some time later, we reached Malden alias Leukas a.k.a. Lefkada: 1000x667 1000x667 1000x667 What do you think I was doing there? Exactly. Looking for some... 1000x667 1000x667

SpeedyDonkey 0 Posted January 2, 2006 Nubian goat, female, Nachal Gishron, Eilat Mountains, Israel.http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif' alt='smile_o.gif'> What a beautiful she-goat. I wish I had some quality pictures to share. All I have is a video clip taken with the cellphone camera of some fireworks which turned out to be in a fairly good quality, but nah.. theavonlady 2 Posted January 2, 2006 Same trip, earlier on, descending into Nachal Gishron (Larger image is 25% of the original. Lots of quality reduction)

Actually, goats are kosher, though it would no longer be kosher if killed by your trusty six shooter. They're also protected animals. So don't expect me to bake you a pie with a file in it, once they lock you away. Chief Wiggum's son in jail! Now that's a thought.

GoOB 0 Posted January 6, 2006 Very nice shot iNeo! Did you use a stand for that? Not sure if I posted this before, but it was taken during the "blizzard" we had about a week or so ago. When it was at it's worst, I stopped by a little coffe shop to seek shelter. And naturally it stopped just when I got in. Then when I'm preparing to leave an hour or so later it had all started again
