The Holy Empire of Tepland

The Holy Empire of Tepland is a huge, safe nation, notable for its punitive income tax rates. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 367 million are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Social Welfare. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 76%. A robust private sector is dominated by the Uranium Mining industry.

The country's famous rainforests are being bulldozed by the mining industry, government police forces protect public schools from the threat of protest, teachers regularly paddle unruly students, and the government's religious works are headed by a New Age guru. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Tepland's national animal is the tiger, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the dolla.

hmm , the sultanate of rannyboy has some concerns about uniforms , it is looking for new personnal gear , uniforms and original(as in new) camo patterns for its troops.

we open a competition to all NDP members for new camo patterns , the winner of the competition will earn a large contract on camo fabric and canvas

what we need :

-desert camo (main color tan/sand)

-light/summer/dry woodland camo (main color , bush green)

-dark/mid-season woodland camo (main color , olive drab , sea green)

-urban camo (main color , grey)

-ice/snow/mountain overalls (main color being white , grey and light blue can be accepted)

at least three colors per camo

the ones we need the most are desert (due to the country's landscape) and dark woodland (the one which should be the most often used)

on the other hand , internal competition has been organised for personnal field gear and uniforms and actually , the two possible winners are :

kevlar/carbon fiber mix with the possibility of having ceramic inserts under those composite elements , the final will be covered with camo canvas and receive a modern kevlar/spectra helmet

or this :

then again covered with the selected camo pattern

the sultanate is also asking if a NDP standardisation for uniforms is planned

Well, the other day I sketched a vehicle.  took a whole sixty seconds because I was bored out of my mind in school.  It's a while from being an actualy thing I'd sell, but here's a scan of the utterly crappy sketch. (Kind of like the vehicle from T3 I belive)

I was so utterly bored and tired I might need to explain this a little.

50 cals mounted on the bottom. Six bombs on the tail wing. A couple of cannons on top for air to air attack. And missies (the enlarged pentagon thingies, more just to symbolize that they are there) for long range attacks.

The Holy Empire of Mialdor is a tiny, pleasant nation, renowned for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate, hard-working, cynical population of 5 million are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Education, Defence, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 17%. A robust private sector is led by the Woodchip Exports, Basket Weaving, and Trout Farming industries.

Crime is moderate, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Mialdor's national animal is the raven and its currency is the yurok.

That's kind of how I designed it. I had the idea a while ago. Saw the movie and though that it could look prety neat. So I sketched it out, kind of like an osprey. But it servers as more of a slower moving assault/patrol vehicle.

@ ran: I would go with the 2nd pic for if we were going to have a standard camo or uniform. But I would only use it for the nation of The Frenchman. The Sacred Covenant (puppet nation that will participate in Future tech wars) will have some unique things to sell later.

This document is designed to help in the common defense of the region of Nogova and all official Alliances with other regions (ChinaJapan for instance).

Article I- Conditions of Activation

The following conditions constitute the activation of common defense:

- Military Invasion by forces by an foreign region(s).

- Terrorist or other "Insurgent" operations by foreign region(s).

- Region Crashing.

- Embargos and other political blocks intended to stop trade of food, minerals, medical supplies or foreign disaster relief.

Article II- Intervention

If/when a nation it attacked or is in imminent danger of being attacked, nations who are members of the NDP must intervene in the defense of that Nation, Nations or Region. Below are the definitions of "intervening":

- Support through diplomatic channels.

- Support through direct military action.

- Support through indirect military action. (Defined as air/rocket/artillery attacks).

- Support through peace keeping operations.

- Support through supply of money, arms, food and other supplies essential for war.

- Support through Black Operations, Surveillance (Recon, Satellite, captured/intercepted intelligence data) or guerilla warfare.

Article III- Definition of the enemy

Enemies of the NDP are defined as:

- Any nation, nations, or regions in direct attack of the allied nation, nations, or regions.

- Any nation, nations, or regions supporting the hostile forces. (Any type of support as listed in Article II are valid "support")

- Any nation, nations, or regions aligned with hostile forces.

Article IV- The NDP Pledge

I [your nation] hereby declare my nation as a member of the Nogovan Defense Pact. I swear to uphold all articles of this declaration with my living will. I will support any/all nations who are members of the Nogovan Defense Pact. I will carry through with the protection of the aligned nation, nations or regions until the hostile forces are repelled and utterly destroyed.

T-84-120 OPLOT

Background

This vehicle had a new all-welded turret, ERA on the hull and turret fronts, Shtora defense system, 1200hp diesel engine, an auxiliary power unit, GPS navigation, new driver controls, NBC protection system, and a fire-detection/suppression system. While the standard T-84 stowed its ammunition in carousel-magazine on the turret floor, the T-84-120 had the ammunition stowed in the turret bustle behind armored bulkheads with blow-out panels on the roof. The autoloader has 22 rounds in the turret bustle with another 18 stowed in the hull. There is a 7.62mm coaxial machine gun and a cupola-mounted 12.7mm machine gun for air defence and local protection. The 120mm smoothbore cannon has a fume extractor, fires all Western ammunition, as well as a 120mm version of the Russian 125mm laser-guided projectile.

This new version is the T-84-120 SEP. Similar in physical shape and size, it uses an all new armor protection system. Instead of rolled Homogenous Steel, this new version uses spaced, layered composits of Ceramic Plates and Depleated Uranium. Ceramics protect against APSH and HEAT warheads, while the depleted urainum is capable of stopping SABOT and other Kinetic energy rounds. All of this is surrounded by Tungsten to protect from Fractures and Radiation released by DU Rounds. The Turret face and sides are completly encased in this new defence system is called CDUT armor. The Chassis has a thin layer of it on the bottom to make Anti tank mines virtually useless. The front is heavily fortified with CDUT, and ballistic skirts to cover the wheels are installed. This new system makes the OPLOT much heavier, combat ready at 68 Tons. A new engine was installed so there is no Performance loss. The engins is a local everonian made EV-1200DP. A V12 engine with over 1350 hp available. The engine can use Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosine. Top speed of the OPLOT SEP is 49 KPH. Fuel consuption rises due to heavier weight, so two 150 gallon drums are installed on the back of the tank, and can be jettisoned during emergencies.

All this for 10 million.
