Dauragon 0 Posted September 15, 2003 I will wait very long for quality work such as this. As for the decision to keep the police "bikers" helmetless it is a good idea. Since many biker cops I see on the walkways here in Sweden don't wear helmets. Yeah let them die as soon as they fall off No wonder why so many sweden cops die of opening in their heads j/k

The old me would have made a really mean comment on this but im no rasist so  good for you swedish cops Quote[/b] ] Uncle Sam doesn't seem to quite understand the theme of the Nogova police. *shrug* I fully agree with DeadMeat on that. Stick to mid eighties tech-wise and mix older soviet style equipment with some Western low-spec stuff. Perfect. i was busy searching for the right pics so i dindt read it from DMQuote[/b] ]when i was in holland i saw cops in Subaru Impreza's   maybe they changed by now? those are the "strandwacht" in english saying Lifegaurds , they do beach patrols, but they aporate as normal Police Cars in the Hood of "Zandvoort, Terschelling, Zeeland(<--State)Texel, etc.

Edit : DM why dont you create a police man with reflecting stripes on him like this That Cars, or crooks can see him in the night

ozanzac 0 Posted September 16, 2003 Quote[/b] ]This could be the van we need, with a few improvements in the addon. Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. We have a winner. That would make a nice paddy wagon! (If you don't know what a paddy wagon is, that's just not cricket!) Though I have it and I think it's a bit rough on the edges.
Dark Knight 0 Posted September 16, 2003 u could always mke that into a comunications van just stick a areal and a small radar on top ;)
Uncle_Sam 0 Posted September 16, 2003 Multi Oppritunities - Paddy Wagon - Armored Truck(Money transfer) - COM Van - Transport Truck(only for officers - Gear Truck containing, Cones, Road Bocks, Road lights(or disks) and a black Blanket to lay down on corps - SWAT or riot Van By the Way DM on the reflecting stripes found a better way this You only have to make your Boat Crew orange thing larger and put some white stripes on it voila
dm 9 Posted September 16, 2003 we'll see, we'll see As someones allready pointed out, there are a lot of really good suggestions in here, I will take them into consideration, and see what I come up with. About the van, I haven't downloaded it yet, but if Jirkus is willing to play, then I'm game
nyles 11 Posted September 16, 2003 That van has some weird look. Furthermore I think it's a little too fast (especially off-road). There ain't some interior modelled yet for the back part, just the driver cabin, so a lot of work would have to be done in that matter. I would also see that if there will be a coversion of the van, it will come with nogova compatible number plate, not the yellow one it has right now. If the vehicle is chosen for becoming that van, I'd really suggest that it's values will make it have it's own place within the police car family. Mainly by making it slower (also off-road) but with an increased transport capacity on the other hand. Right now, it can match speed with the Jeep or the GAZ. Ah well, we will see. Sgt. Drake Savage 0 Posted September 16, 2003 I think a lot of people are misunderstanding Deadmeat. From what I can tell this is gonna be a Nogova police addon, not LAPD. There is no reason for SWAT teams or riot police on a tiny european island with a few small towns and a bunch of villages. I think what he has looks good, though I hope you plan on removing the automatic machine gun from the boat
Lenin 0 Posted September 16, 2003 [...]There is no reason for SWAT teams or riot police on a tiny european island with a few small towns and a bunch of villages.[...] Terrorists can be everywhere - even on Nogova
JAP 2 Posted September 16, 2003 There is no reason for SWAT teams or riot police on a tiny european island with a few small towns and a bunch of villages. Well, i suggest you see a regular football match in Europe then sometime .....
Uncle_Sam 0 Posted September 16, 2003 Yeah that what europa is great in And what do you think of pro communist that kidnap a Democrate nogovan who you gonna call then no SWAT team no Living hostage
eau_ranger 0 Posted September 16, 2003 Great work so far! What I'd like to see on at least one of your future police units is a lightbar. Obviously this wouldn't be one of the ultra-modern 2'' tall LED types you can see from 30 miles aways with 30/200 vision, but instead, one of older more 'blocky' type that was common in the mid-80's. It would be nice to see different types of emergency lighting on your units. In any case it would be easier to for the Nogovan population to see when compared to the rotating beacons currently on police apparatus. I will be more than happy to post photos if your are interested in the idea.

Could be a radar thingy too ... that pic is so small damit
