Baron von Beer 0 Posted December 11, 2003 Get a class 3 FFL in the US, and you can order dealer samples for full auto weapons. I'm sure a mount could be machined to accept an M2HB .50, or even an M134. Of course, all of this would be for duck hunting, nothing more.

TexMex Leprechaun 0 Posted December 19, 2003 I own a 1916 British Enfield Mk.III, Swiss K-31, and Russian 1942 Mosin Nagant. I had a yugo SKS, but sold it so I could by Enfield.:D Also I have some old Swiss web gear. Bought another SKS off the net the other day for my brother's Christmas gift, and had to clean the cosmoline off. It took two friends and myself six hours to do it, was miserable

ran 0 Posted December 24, 2003 offtopic , but back during the invasion of Afganistan , i remember seeing footages of russian wheeled armored vehicles which had a turret and a pretty large caliber gun (75/100mm) they were parked alongside some road , any idea of what it could be ?
blackdog~ 0 Posted December 24, 2003 Maybe you could draw what it kinda looked like in paint or summit? How many wheels did it have?

ran 0 Posted December 24, 2003 no no no no no afghanistan ,and it looked a lot more massive may have to look into the vehicles made by the varsaw pact countries other than russia it wasn't a troop transport , more like a LAV with 90mm gun or maybe an AMX10RC
Baron von Beer 0 Posted December 24, 2003 Could it have been this? Just a BTR with 2S9 turret on it. 120mm mortar Also, 8 wheeled, massive, etc though a hare bigger than 100mm gun. Czech  Dana SPA
ran 0 Posted December 24, 2003 no , it's not a Dana SPAG but the turret looked more massive than the on on the BTR you shown
Milkman 1 Posted December 25, 2003 I was watching the History channel the other day and saw some footage of a double barreled artillery peice. It was a 175mm SP howitser, with two cannons and a swivel mount. Anyone have an idea what that could be? PS: Blackdog, you got that strela yet?

Baron von Beer 0 Posted December 25, 2003 Nah, I want that FlAK 38! Picture this... go out to the airport (for private a/c) and rent your own pad. (Preferably next to someone who just bought a brand new plane. *and is bragging about it, for bonus effect*) Show up on a day you know he'll be there, towing in your AA gun. Unhitch, hook up, and go through the motions as if you're setting it up for use. (Or set up JUST in sight, in the edge of a trealine, as the pic on the site shows. ) (Also would work with the M53. As he is taking off, come driving up along side.....)
blackdog~ 0 Posted December 26, 2003 I just bought a huge lot of military stuff, if anyone's interested I have some unissued Russian gas masks (never issued with canteen, carrying case, mask, lense cleaners, filter) that I'll sell for $30.00 a piece. I also will have a lot of Civil Defense Geiger Counters, going for $8.95 for the CDV-715 and $12.95 for the CDV-717's. Also will have some chemical suits, two or three parkas, a flight suit... if interested in anything just message me.

blackdog~ 0 Posted December 27, 2003 The rules never said I couldn't! If avon can put links to her cafepress store, then I can see if anyone's interested in some cool military stuff.
DKM Jaguar 0 Posted December 27, 2003 Yah, I was only joking. I had quite a bit of stuff.. but it just sat on my shelves collecting dust and generally being useless. It also costs a fair bit. I've decided to sell off what I spent too much on, and keep the bargins. Right now It's all in that big container I showed pictures of, safely out of view from anyone. Plus having loads of military stuff lying around freaks out girls when you show them your room BTW: I've found out that thing is the storage bin for the gunner from an M1A1 main battle tank.It hangs off the rear turret bustle, which is how I know it is from an M1A1, as that rear section was only added on the 'A1. blackdog~ 0 Posted December 30, 2003 My dad wants to get one of these - I like it too. He's been thinking about getting a MUTT vehicle for a while but this is the only time he's seriously been considering it. $5000... not bad for a vehicle that is super rare and is worth much more. PS: I think it would attract the ladies, ok, maybe not... but it's ok to dream - isn't it?
