Yoshiro 0 Posted August 6, 2003 Grabbing it now will put up review soon. ::edit:: And for a first view/glance review. This plane is sexy!!!!!!!!! Only problem I can see at a first glance is the aiming reticule seems to be off center. Is it supposed to be like that? Its aiming somewhere other then where the flashpoint dot is aiming. Scope-SWAF- 0 Posted August 6, 2003 oh.... the "first-person-mode" is horrible, but with a 3rd person view this is a nice plane to fly
Yoshiro 0 Posted August 6, 2003 First person is good if you look down, so you can see the moving throttle and winding canopy thing

LOOOOL yes I heard of modfolders. I don't like using them very much since either it requires me to clog up the OFP folder with shortcuts to the different folders I have. Or even worse clogging up the desktop with all the shortcuts. So not a good solution for me atleast. I am waiting for the 1.92 patch

I am waiting for the 1.92 patch you can have multiple mod folders run from the same shortcut, just keep putting the -mod=whatever like: C:\OperationFlashpoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE -mod=hisky -nosplash -mod=GMR_exploMOD -mod=INQ_Mod for example

I am waiting for the 1.92 patch - You could put a folder on the desktop, give it the icon from Flashpoint and put all the shortcuts for your mod folders in there. No more space than the usual Flashpoint icon, and no time-wasting plodding through the folders on your hard drive to find the Codemasters files. Works fine for me. CuteQA 0 Posted August 6, 2003 I think the AI pilot abandon the plane to easily, is it possible to adjust it?
Yoshiro 0 Posted August 6, 2003 Its like that for the corsair too, the WWII pilots seem to be cowards. Where are the men who went down fighting! (or at least stayed as long as possible)
da12thMonkey 1943 Posted August 7, 2003 Fantastic addon! The textures don't seem aligned quite so well accross the top and bottom of the fuslage but it doesn't bother me that much. I had a great 24 aircraft dogfight with 12 of the captured P-51s taking on a flight of 6 USAAF P-51s and 6 USN Corsairs. It's was great to see such an nice dogfight, multiple aircraft chasing their targets and weaving around while being pursued themselves. Something you just don't get with the missile-laden, modern fighter addons. Can't wait for AiA's Me-109s and Bratty's Zeros to get more of this.
