Look in here, you will find T-55, T62 and T-62AM2 and lots of other armor... Russian armor in Chechnya T-62 also you, RHS, are making/correcting T-72 pack, so about Iraqi T-72... Iraqi T-72 slide show (55 photos) T-80 more of T-80 about that it-130 version, i think there is no need to do it, because it was almost not usable(not in mass numbers) Just downloaded and watched "Chechnya's traps" of 4 parts, made by Ren-TV television... Keller_777 0 Posted April 21, 2005 em, why i showed destroyed abrams? it's simple, most of western people think, that abrams is powerful tank in the world, that there are no other good tanks... Well... I didn't ask you WHY you showed us all busted M1s, did I? My question was - may you show us some pics of busted russian tanks? Most western people think that German Leo 2A6 is the most powerful tank in the world, and so do I. And as far as I know, weastern military specialists usually give Russian T-90 MBT the 7th or 8th place, which is fine with me. As to Chernobyl... actually, right now it's a pretty safe place. The T-62 - I was going to ask if there would be a new interior, but was afraid to hear a negative answer... It's good to know I was wrong. This tank is perfect. belgerot 33 Posted April 22, 2005 Why destroy the surprise, maybe yes maybe no, maybe partsOh and some teaser pics from VexMan Pic1 Pic2 I was surprised too, being away for a few days and hearing of a K-52!? Luckily I found it, I thought my eyes were decieving me too at first. The T-62s are looking incredible, especially the T-62MV, looks pretty grizzly, barely resembles a T62 honestly.. Great progress on those
Jezz 0 Posted April 22, 2005 i its funny the more the t-62 is modernised the less it looks like one. shadow im guessing that those pictures are of t-64bv im going on the road wheels and how the suspension has droped right done like there is no pressure left in it suspension system, t-72 uses torsion bar suspension so this would not happen
Keller_777 0 Posted April 22, 2005 And for Keller some destroyed russian made vehicles... Busted rushkie tanks?!! Oh my! Spasibo!!! or how do you say it?.. I appreciate that very much. As to that little Chernobyl offtop discussion... well, if you live in the zone for several months, eat whatever you can find there and don't use any "anti-radition" pills - then you will be affected. Otherwise you won't even need a gas mask to be there and not be harmed. So I suppose it quite safe to use DU tank rounds - like the ones the US army has, as long as you don't literally sleep and eat on them. Or something like that. One question concerning the Su-25 addon - is there any chance that you could tell us a little about its weapons and weapon configurations? Those T-62s... alright, dare I say that it is probably the best tank model we have ever seen in OFP? or one of the best tank models, that's for damn sure! -HUNTER- 1 Posted April 22, 2005 I agree on what ace said, I find these tanks together with the other released pack such good tanks I cannot wait for the more modern variants to take on the SEP!
Shadow NX 1 Posted April 22, 2005 The Su will be ACES compatible ( Like Hardrocks Eurofighter ) that means it will feature a lot off the loadouts that are already in the aces project, you can put your own fav. loadouts on it
Acecombat 0 Posted April 22, 2005 Sexcellent . Finally a few good looking(textured) russian planes. Will you guys do more modern ones after this? Or continue with this trend i see of past first then future like with T-55's onwards tanks.
Shadow NX 1 Posted April 22, 2005 Well the Su25 is still widely used, i think we tryto find some way in the middle between future and past, focus on the stuf that is used now in the russian army
hellfish6 7 Posted April 22, 2005 Is the SU-39 used only by the Russian Navy, or does the Air Force use it as well? Oh, and will they be Footmunch/ACES roundel-compatible?
Gedis 0 Posted April 22, 2005 Tommorow come to me little bit late Here are you some destroyed T tanks Iraq destroyed tanks: http://onlineathens.com/images/032003/war2.jpg form the left to right, destroyed T-55 enigma and T-55A T-55A http://www.aeronautics.ru/nws001/t55.jpg http://www.indybay.org/uploads/tank1.jpgkwme7p.jpg http://www.indybay.org/uploads/tank4.jpg http://www.1ofthefew.com/iraqi/littered-t72.jpg http://www.1ofthefew.com/iraqi/tank3.jpg http://www.1ofthefew.com/iraqi/tank6.jpg Type-59/69 http://www.1ofthefew.com/iraqi/tank1.jpg http://www.1ofthefew.com/iraqi/grafittitank.jpg T-62 http://dahrjamailiraq.com/gallery/albums/album12/100_1978.jpg http://www.1ofthefew.com/iraqi/tank2.jpg http://www.briski.us/Exploits/ODS/Kuwait/slides/Tank1.jpg T-72M1 http://dahrjamailiraq.com/gallery/albums/album12/100_1980.jpg http://btaylor.dnsalias.com/images/Iraq/iraq_056.jpg http://dahrjamailiraq.com/gallery/albums/album12/100_1974.jpg http://www.1ofthefew.com/iraqi/destroyed_tank.gif http://www.altus.af.mil/PA....S27.jpg http://pla.hbu.edu.cn/bingqidaguan/Russian/tank/t72/t-72-destroyed.jpg Destroyed Russian tanks in Chechnya: T-62 http://www.missing-lynx.com/library....-49.jpg http://www.armor.kiev.ua/Battle/Chechen/Grozny7.jpg http://www.armor.kiev.ua/Battle/Chechen/Grozny4.jpg http://www.armor.kiev.ua/Battle/Chechen/Grozny8.jpg http://www.armor.kiev.ua/Battle/Chechen/Grozny9.jpg http://www.armor.kiev.ua/Battle/Chechen/Grozny2.jpg http://www.armor.kiev.ua/Battle/Chechen/Grozny5.jpg T-72 http://news.bbc.co.uk/olmedia....0ap.jpg And i wondered about abrams vs. t-90, t-90 would launch Reflex misiles first, form 5000m. abrams can effectively fire from 3500m. DU rounds... Reflex missiles are very strong, one missile is enough to destroy abrams. Reflex missiles also could be used agains low flying, low speed targets(200m height flying helicopters). But t-90 can effectively fire from 3000m. basic it's anti-armor rounds, but that one round isn't enough to destroy abrams. Abrams hasn't got any counter measure against missiles, when t-90 has arena-e(very effective against tow-2, helfire and other missiles, don't remember which ones... ) About targeting systems, SEP program upgrade for abrams is precise, but t-90 also is quite enough. Analitics say, if you put 10 abrams vs. 10 T-90 in clear area and if there would be good weather, 40-50% of abrams would be destroyed by reflex missiles from T-90's, but when missiles will strike targets, other left abrams would strike T-90 with DU rounds and if they reach it's target (it's almost imposible in 4000-4500m range) T-90 would be destroyed from one DU round (maybe). Besides abrams DU armor is weak to missiles... T-90 has era armor and anti-missiles system Arena-e, when abrams has no era armor and no anti-missiles system... About manuevers, T-90 is more mobile, because of not big weight (45-48 tons), when Abrams weights 67 tons. If there were close couters battle(city fight), i wouldn't choise abrams, because i already mentioned, weakness for missiles. Besides your love one Abrams didn't faced Grozny , there is no such strong ressitance in Iraq... I remember some crew from T-72B said, that this tank has 9 lives, because, it's era aromor outstanded heavy rocket fire... All tanks has got some good and bad points... All in all there are no best tank in the world, but there is the Leopard 2 A6(thanx god that it's armor is not DU and it don't use DU rounds, this tank is not a cheat like abrams...) hm, strange, i didn't find destroyed T-80 or T-72, will try to find, i know there were some... besides Russian navy doesn't use Su-39, they use Su-25UTG(it's a two seated trained also used for ground/navy support aircraft)
