waffendennis 0 Posted February 21, 2003 Well about the X-box Version of OFP wy should you buy it? and if they not adding somthing news only some options like playing with 2/4 man @ a Singel mission or campaing would you buy it then ( and if you have a X-box ) but i got some Questions a bout it 1: They must Edit the Game engine to fit it on the PIII G-force 2/3 Video procesor ( you know the X-box procesor ) so if they edit the game engine can they add new things that we have not and a big shit to the game? like: fire 2 guns at the same time and walk on a Carrier or somthing whene its move and like that options? ( if they could they must do it and it wil be much better ) 2:Are they going to make new addons because i saw on the IL site a C130 made by BIS so i aske are they going to make some great addons? 3:if there can be X-box live support and you dont have the Live service but you have OFP do you gonna buy LIVE? and can they make it posible to make uprades with new stuff like the PC and can they add some Addons that are out already now made by other MOD makers? 4:We can use this Topic for all the stuff of the X-box version so if any 1 haves PICS+Movies+New addons or somthing post them here THX. GAMEER_77 0 Posted February 21, 2003 Why shouldn't you buy it? It's OFP, must be good. 1. The only things they would add would be graphical features (Pixel shading, maybe). 2. Why would they make new addons? 3. Eh...don't get what your saying about LIVE. I don't have and X-Box anyways, but if i did i couldn't get LIVE cause i heard it uses broadband. Anyways yes I would buy it because as they r making the game for xbox it is gonna have have split screen (4 ppl) and that would be a very neato feature, so I am probably gonna buy it. It is gonna be interesting to c how the xbox will handle the game. Also I heard rumors that the microsoft will announce modifications to the xbox at the E3, I wonder if bis got an updated development kit. The people who salivate at the mere possibility of CS or BF1942 getting ported. waffendennis 0 Posted February 22, 2003 I am sure that BIS gonna release it on the X-box because they have it on there new remake WWW. Site so check out the BIS site and you will see and if any update about the Console version on the BIS site i will post it here but it would be very need if you can make your own mission with Missionbuilder and then select with howmany players you want to play 1/2/3/4 so 1 is a Soldier of the West the second 1 is a East soldier and the third one is a Recistance and the fourth is a Civie so you have four little screens with each side and then its very fun. Sudan 0 Posted February 24, 2003 i'm lookinf forward to ofp on 36 inches of either 480p,720p,or 1080i resolution hd tv, with Dolby 5.1 surround, with everyone using voice, no chance of any real cheating. wont be better than pc version, but it will still be good if not great. ofcourse it also matters if it will be live enabled. other wise it will just be the single player missions, which won't be hard to port over to xbox, it will be how they handle the multiplayer gaming that will make it amazing or not. and with live's downloadable content, it is allready built in for addons.
