here's the whole email: Breaking Flashpoint 2 news - Just had some breaking news, once again, regarding Operation Flashpoint 2. I thought I would send out a little mail to those interested about it, as my newsletter isn't due out for another week and I just couldn't wait to tell everyone the good news. So what is this news? Well we have finally decided to put everyone out of their misery and tell them the locations of the new Theatres of conflict. Yep you heard right, Theatres!!! A lot of speculation has been thrown towards the Vietnam Camp and yes, these rumours have been partially correct, but on top of that (Vietnam Theatre) we will have settings in Central Europe and in Africa, all based in and around the 1970's. More details will follow next week in the new edition of CCC, including news on IGI 2's two new maps, and Battlefield Command's Q&A Session with the Senior Game Designer. if tribes 2 can have 64 ppl on a server with little lag, and in game join. ofp should as well.

you know i was really hoping for a medieval setting. hope on a horse ride into battle, horse gets killed hop off whip out your sword, grab a spear of the dead guy. imagine similar engine more overcast days, and highland look to it, you got catapaults, battering rams, all first person view. trojan horses, they'll never see ya coming no magic or bs like that, just real weapons real physics, and men in tights. horses to rape, women to pillage......................ahhh it would be great.

i'm lookinf forward to ofp on 36 inches of either 480p,720p,or 1080i resolution hd tv, with Dolby 5.1 surround, with everyone using voice, no chance of any real cheating. wont be better than pc version, but it will still be good if not great. ofcourse it also matters if it will be live enabled. other wise it will just be the single player missions, which won't be hard to port over to xbox, it will be how they handle the multiplayer gaming that will make it amazing or not. and with live's downloadable content, it is allready built in for addons.

just trying to hunt down any info on the xbox version. i have seen the websites, and searched all over the web. i here release sometime in june. wondering if it will do xbox live. really looking for info from the horses mouth. thanx.
