I could only say if it was close.  The sound as it is, isn't all that close as you don't have all that low end thump to it.  If you watch the news showing U.S. troops firing the SAWs during live fire training in the Persian Gulf you'll get a better idea of what they sound like (although on the TV they sound a bit muffled and abrupt due to the audio limiter used for the sound so as not to distort the audio). Eviscerator 0 Posted February 18, 2003 To anyone wanting some opposition to the desert deltas/rangers i just saw a unit that i didnt actually realise i had installed that woul fit quite well, there are also a lot of other units that would fit in as OPFOR in the pack, a picture of UCE's Middle East units: You'll need all the below zips to get these http://koti.mbnet.fi/vosku/addonit/UCEunits.zip http://flashpoint.xaos.ru/jjsoini/uce_eastweapons1_25.zip http://koti.mbnet.fi/vosku/addonit/VNGroza.zip

theavonlady 2 Posted February 18, 2003 Islamic resistance units, by Christoph: Don't forget all of MAF's US and Iraqi desert vehicles and armor. There's also two Iraqi MI17 Hips and a desert Hind to be found out there. Sadly, I haven't seen any Iraqi soldiers other than the crew for MAF's Iraqi armor. And this is my 7000th post. miles teg 1 Posted February 18, 2003 The HK pack is nice but it's friggin HUGE and everything is one .pbo file. I don't use all those HK weapons for any of my missions nor do I use most of the units so it's just a waste of RAM (all the addons get stored in RAM) to have the HK pack in my addons directory. I really wish they would re-release the HK pack with the units as seperate pbo's and where the bad guys for example (armed with Ak's), didn't require the HK weapons pack. Either that or perhaps someone can ask permission from Viperheart (assuming you can get ahold of him) to rip the bad guys from the pack and release it as a stand alone addon pack. Just a suggestion. Until then I guess the regular resistance fighers, UCE Middle East troops, and Christoph's Islamic resistance soldiers will have to do. 9mm 0 Posted February 18, 2003 IMHO HKPack is worth of any byte of RAM it uses, and untill BAS showed up it had been the very only addon i HAD to have. Anyway, to get back on topic, i'd love to see Delta and KSK joint op mission...

Semi auto and automatic weapons can be made to be very accurate, this just requires a great deal of modification and a skilled gunsmith to achieve.
