Private Evans 498 Posted July 21, 2021 Indeed CLSA comes with a lot of completely new residental buildings, which even are all furnished and not that much with the completely overused Chernarus buildings ! 🙂
Mack. 59 Posted August 14, 2021 The CSLA units have an awesome drag body option in the scroll wheel menu. It is possible to add this to non DLC units while the DLC is loaded? Thanks
CSLALUKI 30 Posted August 16, 2021 Hello @Mack., yes it's possible - you have to spawn a function called CSLA_fnc_trahereCorpus I don't know where you want to use it (editor or EH) but the simplest way is to use this in `Init` field of any placed unit: this spawn CSLA_fnc_trahereCorpus If you have further questions don't hesitate to visit our Discord.
Ex3B 266 Posted August 18, 2021 So I was looking on the wiki at the CSLA m1 Abrams pics, and at the corresponding Arma 2 Abrams, and it is clear that this Abrams is a higher poly model. I saw a lot of complaints that CSLA was just porting and retexturing a bunch of A2 models, with a few new models. That is clearly not the case for the M1 and the LAV-25... But is it the case for anything? Is the criticism completely unjustified?
Valken 622 Posted August 19, 2021 Can you show some side by side pictures? It would be better to show the improvements or changes.

From the Arma wiki, just look at the m240 models Certainly not just a simple port... Maybe they started with a port, but it's not now.
MAA 127 Posted August 20, 2021 Hi, I saw somewhere that a few people put in the effort and compared side by side assets from CSLA with the content existing in A3 or A2 to form their own opinion on the quality and also on the validity of the claim that we 1: 1 ported the official A2 assets. Here is side-by-side weapon comparison made by T00T: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/gp9yhszvqd1guxy/AABe8bnEE3qpkLRHqbrqnnzRa?dl=0 I've also seen a comparison of vehicles from someone, but now I can't find it quickly. P.S. I found this on A3 twitter:

Damian90 697 Posted December 20, 2021 @MAA Will you guys add main gun recoil animations for vehicles like tanks? Also some other issues should be fixed. I can help with reliable informations. 1. More Abrams variants can be added in easy way. For example M1A1HA, just copy paste the M1A1, rename it to M1A1HA and increase it's armor protection. 2. M1IP, M1A1 (and possible M1A1HA) should have 4 man crews. 3. M1IP and M1A1 should have such optics - gunner with day + thermal sight with 3x and 10x zoom. TC with day sight only with 3x zoom and 1x periscope. 4. M1IP can use M833 APFSDS, M456 HEAT, M393 HEP and M416 WP. M1A1 can use M829 APFSDS and M830 HEAT (possible M1A1HA would use M829A1 APFSDS and M830 HEAT). 5. M1IP and M1A1 main gun elevation angles are -10 and +20 degrees. 6. Ammunition storage is: M1IP - 55 rounds of 105mm, 11400-12000 7.62x51mm (for coax and loaders M240 machine guns, with ~2000 ready rounds for coax MG) and 1000 12.7x99mm for commander M2 heavy machine gun. M1A1 - 40 rounds of 120mm, 11400-12000 7.62x51mm (for coax and loaders M240 machine guns, with ~2000 ready rounds for coax MG) and 1000 12.7x99mm for commander M2 heavy machine gun. Rovka 14 Posted January 7, 2022 Hello, I got me a few questions about Gabreta map, Between Kozojedy and Strazny, there is a wide open gap in the Iron Curtain. No patrol pathsway, no roads, no indication of minefields, with warning signs.. Just forest, and wide open hillsides, on Czechoslovakian side of border.. I understand from earlier post that middle of river was border in effect, but map-design like this currently on stable, well, no trace of an Iron Curtain to be found in that sector to the North-west part from river-military compound (with bridge) towards edge of the map. Also boats still do not navigate on rivers on stable branch either, so patroling river by boat is hard to do. Then there is a single lost German (Halt, hier Grenze!) sign, to the righthand side of the road, exiting Strazny eastbound. It is near what seems to be a military compound, just east of the T-intersection that leads to the border crossing checkpoint to the south nearby and towards the river Vltava? (spelling?) Also, speaking of border security, some of the bunkers in the same area, further east on Czechoslovakian side, along river-bank on the border-area, they are positioned as such, that it is hard to use them firing towards river, because bunker-position is straightened to sea-level. Because of that, there is hardly an effective field of fire available from them. Thus hardly any use of them small concrete bunkers near river.. Thanks for a potential fix if possible and deemed practical? I hope some of the things mentioned here might be fixed.
tarball 0 Posted January 8, 2022 Where can I find the SP missions? I own the DLC, but they don't seem to be available.
EMSI 960 Posted January 9, 2022 @Rovka Bunkers are there from ages just before the 2nd WW and in that times the shape of country (e.g. woods) was different. Proposal of concrete fortification was not to fire directly on the border or behind the border on the enemy - they were there to wait until enemy will came closer and then to fire into their formations from side or to their backs. Damian90 697 Posted January 10, 2022 @MAA I have also another suggestion. Not only M1IP and M1A1 should have -10/+20 degrees of main gun elevation, but also, there seems to be issue with main gun depression limits over the hull, on the left side of the hull, it seems that main gun, can't be depressed. In fact the actual border was not even noticable in many wooded areas especially around the Bavarian National Park. In some cases tourists, which were stupid enough, to ignore the warnings, were sometimes arrested by Chzechoslovakien border patrols and had to pay a high fine ( of course in western currency) before they were allowed to return.
