Nope, not in Germany. I don't know whether you can buy spring handguns if youre older than 18 years, but you defenately aren't allowed to have AEGs.

I'm not a gun law expert and I don't really care because I've given up thinking about getting into airsoft. The reasons are written in your link.

How old does a person have to be to buy a BB gun in the UK? I got one the other day, and I beleived the age minimum to be 17. I went in today to get a MK. 23 Socom w/supressor and I was told they have to be 18 to buy one. But then, I got served before less than a week ago without any question. I really want that gun

I wonder what to do...

I've got it!

It's a Sig P228 with silencer. It has an odd coking action, where you pull back the slider and push a lever to release the working parts. Kinda annoying, but it looks great and shoots well, even for a hop-up gun.

its 18 for sure in the UK, which means i can buy a BB gun or AR what do u use for ammo jaguar? those crappy plastic bb's? or metal ones lol

To be honest I think that is misuse of a potentially dangerous weapon. There is a line to draw, and I draw it at shooting anything live, causing damage or danger to others.

Meh I finally got myself an ICS Mp5A5 for like 220.

Watch out, the tappet plates on the ICS's are prone to snap, so I'd buy a metal one. ICS is alright, but reliability is somewhat sketchy, though they have metal bodies, that's the only thing good about them.

You should set up a committee trying to re-legalize airsoft again.

There has been a committee trying to legalize airsoft in The Netherlands. The report is being handled by the authorities.

Hopefully... An answer will come very soon.

There is one country where airsoft is re-legalized... which is Portugal.

Ha my car15 has all colt markings and no orange tip, scared the shit outta the cop that stoped us crossing the street (on my own land on both sides) But he said it was sweet and he then procedded to buy one once he got home. US is awesome becasue of gun laws and if some liberal ass pussy wants to changes those laws they can go somewhere else. America was built on guns and was shaped by guns why throw that away. ergh..... evil democrats, go to canada where they are allready socialists. anyways..... you guys know whats awesoem is just a pistol game (GBB of course) You conserve your ammo much more and actaully aim, and you usually have to get sloser to your oppenents. You all should try it.

I doubt airsoft would get permanently banned...

The only trouble is that there aren't any official rules concerning airsoft itself as a sport.

I think one of my favourite firefights involves a "Hunter-Killer" team and an overpowered M-60E3.

I was walking point with the AK-47 I had been loaned, and a few mags stuffed into my chest rig. I spotted this OPFOR fireteam in an ambush position about twenty five meters ahead of my squad's position and I went low. The guys behind me fan out and two sprint left. (On our right there's a river.)

They start firing up this ambush team, and since we're well out of the killzone we were doing OK. That's when I got hit by this overpowered M-60E3 while I was changing magazines - I had dropped an empty while I was stuffing it into my dump bag and reached down to retrieve it. In doing so, apparently my shoulder was exposed or the small rise I was concealed behind wasn't as high as I thought.

We later chrono'ed this gun, it was running 550FPS - probably illegal all over. I had a bruise the size of my palm from that. I really don't know how, but damn, it was tender for a week.

The fun part came when we were pursuing the M-60E3 gunner and their fireteam leader and chased them straight into the river. They ran right off the ledge into the water.

I suppose the moral of the story is:

"Don't have the airsoft clocked so high that it motivates the opposing team to chase you down, and always watch where you put your feet."

Unfortunately, not that many airsofting teams in Far-Eastern Canada.
