HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!! Those NVA Units are so amazing, I am gonna drool when I play with this stuff! I love that DSHk, the mosin, the mossberg (i think), and everything! One question: what kind of machine guns are those in the pic with the SEALs? (the one below the shotgun) biggrin.gif

Whats the ETA on the pack?

Noticed they are VC's, not NVA! BTW, are you going to make the Americans call them Charlies again, that was an amazing part of the pack before!

what's that M14? is it a new rifle or just again that old FILO M14? you know there's a better one out there now. smile.gif

this soviet MG looks awesome! but isn't it too big, even for the small VC units?

the old one always made my graphics brake down. sad.gif and this muzzle flash bug realy sucked. biggrin.gif

i know stt has been fixing some things, like the ai walking through forest blocks, thats now fixed im not sure whether it will be in the pack or as a seperate download later, there will sometime in the future be a proper reworking of Ia Drang once better tools are released, and if you mean unplayable by the slow fps caused by so many objects, turning object shadows off normally fixes most of that, also theres been a muzzle flash bug fix out for a long time: http://www.ofpec.com/yabbse....fix.zip (1kb)

The release in the near future (with pack perhaps?), will it include the sounds from Jungle Everon? Please?? smile.gif

Very nice..can't wait. To funny though I had just the briefing and stuff left to make on a Viet mission I've been working on. I'm waiting till next week and am going to replace units. The units look great.

Those units look amazing, however they need fully working island so I hope you fix AI pathing & misc problems with the Ia Trang ASAP. This addons deserves better island than Jungle Everon or bugged Ia Trang...

As units seem to be finished, I'd put the effort on finishing your already-excellent Ia Trang.

The forests in on the Ia Trang map have been fixed, the AI now path properly.

I'm working on fixing the airport near the plei me SF camp to accept larger aircraft but since alot of the larger airplane addons use a shallow glidpath there are issues still. One possibility would be to switch the ILS/autopilot landing location to the lower right runway.

We will release the working Ia Trang island with nam pack 2, whether we get time to totally redo the island (ie proper 3 canopy jungles, high definition textures) is doubtful for the Nam Pack 2 release.

Note: for serious mission makers who will be using the nam pack and ia trang island to make missions I can forward the fixed forest p3d file to help with your mission design pending the release of the fixed island. You will have to subsitute the p3d with the one in the sebnam_obj file manually. email me if you want the fixed p3d.

I have been trying to get a Vietnam campagin working. I installed all addons required but when I start it it claims it can not load 'Objects' Why cant it be a bit more help and explain which objects it cant load or have I missed something totally?

i had this problem too. it's not a problem of the nam pack. you have to install the editorupgrade102.

Evis on the hueys when the M60 fires on them will you have the effect of the caseings hiting the metal?

i dont think so, im pretty sure ofp helo's cant have ejecting shells, and the UH-1D/H's have the ammo bags to catch the empty casings, so no smile.gif
