Tigershark 0 Posted November 6, 2002 The dissapering objects is on our buglist. We slowly address these over time. The 1.1 fix was mainly to allow passengers to be shot, fix the exhaust texture and get a 1.46 version running to placate the 127 (yes 127!! emails I got asking a) why doesn't it work b) I can't see it in the 1.46 demo c) where is the depbo stuffpbo program d) I followed St's instructions and they didn't work e) whens the 1,46 version gonna work. Sometimes it aint fun being an addon maker :-(
-CCCP-Stalker 0 Posted November 6, 2002 Guys do the REAL SOAR pilots have silenced MP5 ? I've seen a lot of movies (not only BHD) and EVERY SOAR pilot had MP5N (I think. Not silenced variant). Are you going to change that in your SOAR pilots ? And about pasanger capacity. How mission maker could decide how many people to put on the LB if the other 2 places will be open for entering. Not for the player (this lock true) but for the AI which is controlled by the player. Order them to enter any vehicle (even locked) and they will do it. So just add 6 places to the LB and everything should be fine And how about creating medivac version (with only two cargo places and the anims of soldiers lying on the benches)
sprucemoose 0 Posted November 6, 2002 Excellent work, love the attention to detail i cant stop useing them.
Chronicles 0 Posted November 6, 2002 I want to say thank you to every people involved in those LittleBirds, the 1_1 version seems flawless for my version 1.46 A great job and a must download for everyone I cant wait to see next productions from BAS Keep up the good work
r71 0 Posted November 6, 2002 Yeah they fly alot better now, but its to bad the choppers cant move fast sideways like they can in real life. I think they call it side slip. I saw a chopper of the same type going very fast like that the other day. I guess you cant make them do that with the ofp engine.
Tigershark 0 Posted November 8, 2002 OK...everbody...listen carefully and read my lips. THERE WILL BE NO MORE THAN 4 SEATS ON THE MH-6. OK....so stop asking for it. I would like your opinions on whether the seats in the back of AH-6 stay...as the real helo does not have these seats. @R71 You're correct...the engine prohibits this. @everyone else Thanks for the compliments We may consider a medivac version.....but to be honest...we have other projects we wanna finish first. dm 9 Posted November 8, 2002 @AirWolf - the minigun sound problem will be addressed in the next patch/versoin, using a very realistic (recorded from a live fireing) sound - so no woories there. @Wardog...... what can i say....

Mr ThunderMakeR 0 Posted November 9, 2002 You know you could squeeze 10 people into a jeep in an emergency by having em set on eachothers laps? I suppose you want someone to edit the jeep to do this too? Seriously, if 4 aint enough for you, ADD ANOTHER LITTLEBIRD. Or howabout an even crazier idea, USE A BLACKHAWK! Some people are just never happy lol
Mr ThunderMakeR 0 Posted November 9, 2002 Ok now you guys got me thinking about options for the mission makers so I just had to come beg for my new idea: Now this might not be standard operating procedure (SOP), I was thinking that in a really horrible emergency, like a really really BAD situation, you should be able to chop up your soldiers into little tiny pieces and cram then into every little nook and crannie on the Littlebird.  Now id like to repeat, this deffinitely isnt SOP, but you never can tell when youll get stuck in a horrendous emergency, and im just saying that the mission makers should have this option.  Im thinking you could fit about 10, 15, maybe even 20 soldiers on to the littlebird this way. And while were at it, I was thinking that you really cant tell how soon in the future, through either evolution or genetic engineering (whichever comes first   ), soldiers will be able to sprout wings out of thier asses and take to the skies, turning the clouds into their battlefields of glory! Just imagine nervously flapping ur ass wings as you climb over the top of the next cloud, just to find yourself in the middle of an airial ambush! I mean, it could possibly happen, so dont you all think the mission makers deserve this option? Are you guys catching my drift?? Am I getting the point across to you yet? Some people are just never happy lol<span id='postcolor'> I was attempting Humour. I should have known better. As for your "suggestions:" Jeep: why not if you could do it without looking daft? The very good reason you SHOULDN'T, is that many people would would abuse the fact that it could be done, rather than should be done, so do it only if you could also model the serious effect it would have on the performance of the vehicle too. It should remain something you do because "you have to," rather something you can do. Of course ditto for the littlebirds. Well, that's the thing about emergancies. they tend to be inconvenient and crop up at all the wrong times

Guest BratZ Posted November 9, 2002 Wow ...love the LB's!! 4 seats are great! Thats what it came with and thats what it has. I'd like to make choppers too (Vietnam era) and after checking specs and capacities , I can't believe people been making choppers able to carry all that weight to begin with and 4 is perfect.I love the sounds ,it sounds like the blades are really spinning fast! I have been waiting for this chopper model since the game was out,I actually been wanting a civi version but these are great!! Good job guys!!

Stag 0 Posted November 11, 2002 :shrugs:I think it's already been said. You're going for SOP over capability. Fair enough. But can I ask you to ask your Ranger contacts Why they carry so few? I believe I already know the answer, redundancy, but I'd be intersted to hear what they say on the matter.
