So I worked through the fix and got buldozer to work again.

 

HOWEVER.

 

I cannot use the ENTER key to cycle through the animations any more.  The first animation starts by default, and I can use the middle mouse wheel to rotate it.  However the ENTER and BACKSPACE keys stopped working.  This worked before I decided to update the tools this morning... WTF?

If you still have issues with bulldozer, just do the steps above then launch Terrain Builder (or Object Builder) from Arma 3 Tools directory directly (make shortcuts)

 

-> X:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3 Tools\TerrainBuilder\TerrainBuilder.exe*

-> X:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3 Tools\ObjectBuilder\ObjectBuilder.exe*

The 3 mentioned issues are now fixed and should appear soon in the development branch. Thank you for the reports and ping in PM.

Hello i have a big Problem, i used this Tutorial and it partially works. But i become an Error when i start buldozer in Terrain Builder, i have a Screenshot:

And it now is available in the development branch of the tools.

Regarding the PxFoundation issue, it's a failure of the PhysX initialization which could be caused by a missing DLL, the above fix could help.

Hi... i have update today cuz i had message "may buldozer not working"   .. but instead working fine .. after update buldozer open normally but stuck and no keys or moving mouse working ... i have redone all tutorial and not solved.. any ideas?

partially resolved by renaming buldozer_x86.exe to buldozer.exe ... I saw that it worked even changing to run in the arma3  directory .. even tried to install it on another computer that I use as a server, and the same result ... no buldozers crash is seen moving vegetation .. by pressing f1 you see the 4 fields, but no writing and   mouse movements or other buttons dsnt work, rename to use bulldozers x86 and it works ...

When you spend 4 hours trying to get bulldozer to work, then it finally does, then it crashes every time you load it up

Gone through the process a few times, but it's not operating right. I get to the part where I'm about to start Buldozer Configurator, and everything looks to be in place. I attempt to configurate, but I get an error message telling me buldozer is missing, and to run DevP (whatever that is). For grins, I start up OB and then buldozer to preview a model. The window starts and the model loads, but some rvmat textures are missing (e.g.: nohq, smdi, as). Some show up fine, though. The textures pulled from a common file directory in the root folder are displaying completely, while the textures specific to the model are only showing the *_co.paa files. The RVMATs seem to be trying to work - just not the textures they are assigning. I believe this because there is a weird darkness caused from a missing NOHQ file, which means the RVMAT has to be trying to call one in the first place. Maybe my file path is too many folders deep, if that's even a thing?

Packing, previewing, and playing my assets has been working fine before setting up P: drive. The only reason I wanted to do it with P: was (A) to allow common assets/textures to be used by many vehicles and characters, and (B) to eliminate having to setup paths in OB options every time I open a different model.

Cool. Can I just install over everything, or do I need to jump hoops backwards now?

Just run arma3p, if you get an error about one of the tools missing, just reinstall that one. Some people have had that issue lately.

 

Once its completed, set buldozer as your arma3.exe like this

Prior to streamlining my mod's internal directory and setting the texture path in OB constant for every model, everything was working. Prior to making the move to utilize more of Mikero Tools, my mod components were pumping out. It was a few more steps, but vehicles were visible with proper textures in Buldozer, and more importantly they were coming out nicely in the game environment. I even made some videos featuring many of my vehicles. Between BIS, Mikero, and Windows 10 Fall Creators Update I think they are all conspiring against me :-P But seriously, after re-install of Mikero's Tools, Arma 3 Tools, and Arma 3 itself, I finally got to a point where the pboProject was giving me actual output. I don't know how it's supposed to work, but I wonder if it's supposed to have the space in "-binPath=P:\ GIJOE\vhx_soft\gijoe_vamp" between P:\_and_GIJOE? If not, then what's causing it? I tried to use "Addon Breaker" to see if it would still push it out as before. The result is an empty entry in the virtual garage that causes the character to spawn without a vehicle, and I cannot select other vehicles. Using alt+F4 yields an error message after killing it. So, whatever changes made in the all-encompassing effort of getting Mikero's Tools to work also affected Addon Builder, probably Binarize.exe to be specific. If it's a problem with my config or model, then sorry, but I still think there's a setup mishap somewhere.

Ok I completed mounting a P Drive but my steamapp id is 233800. Is that a bad thing?

As I see nobody ansver to this topic - I have the same issue on some machines after move buldozer to them and question to all - who is able to use normally X64 version of buldozer , i get problems every time when I try to switch to it. Other problem is that description on wiki page is

I try to change/remove all keybinds in arma config like it is decribed and even after that I had still the same problem and working only keys to rotate model but animation change enter/backspace not, (even when I remove all keys in

(Configure >> Controls >> Keyboard >> “Show” development)

- so that is not interconnect with arma config files) so question where it is stored? in buldozer.cfg file? rather not beacouse on other machine where it works i didn't found any keys values in it.

 

SOLVED problem with no working keys in buldozer window: so reason in my case was very simple but after RPT analize I discover it: just copy directory DTA from arma 3 folder to P dmain directory and keys start to work again (there is product.bin file needed for that).
