Game crashes: Memory and Graphics

Recommended Posts

Update: I am still exchanging emails with BI support, but till now they told me to:

  • send them dxdiag logs, msinfo32,...
  • reinstall the game
  • send them a new rpt file without mods and without custom allocators
  • reinstall DirectX
  • reinstall the system (did not do this obviously)
  • try new drivers for the graphic card (Intel HD 4000)
  • set Virtual memory with some settings

Nothing worked. I think they will not help me ...

One crash, and that occured when

exiting the game... Not during.

and already awake...Sick

daughter, fever....Well, she

will stay in bed and ill stay...

In Game...With my son....

Edit:

We will push our luck and try

a domi mission today..I dont

know, but domination might

be more mem intensive..

:(

Since I'm sticking with Windows 7 I don't know if there are any compability issues with Windows 10 and A3? Maybe someone else knows?

Next thing I would would be to switch over to the development version of A3 on your sons computer and see if it solves it. If it does you can swith over as well and you can still play MP between with him. Then when next patch is released you switch back to stable version.

If that still not work I would reinstall Windows 10 or if possible upgrade the OS to Windows 7 64-Bit - joke - (I prefer W7 much over  8.x/10 for many reasons).

A3 working flawlessly here on Win10-64. Indeed most of those who've made the jump (30% of Steam users now run Win10) seem very satisfied with it in terms of performance, stability and compatibility. Personal privacy on the other hand...

So now I've got another friend who can't even launch his game, ending with the same error.

No updates, no nothing from Bohemia. Ridiculous!

In game gradually there is a gain on use of bigger memory size. Armagh 3 seeks to use more VM, but not to care of release of VM from an unnecessary a lot of stuff.
