It's just an internal server, to play between them. The point is that this an official picture, they certainly show this on purpose. So Apex is very likely to contain a multiplayer mission called "Queen of the valley".

Let me spread some logical light on "Queen of the Valley". Judging by the fact Tanoa is a gritty Archipelago, most of its towns are located in valleys, while the surrounding hills or mountains (if you can call them that) are full of jungle. Now, logic says that you don't want to be trying to cap a town while in a jungle on the side of the hill... Where you can't see anything...

There is a new Dev Diary coming your way. Focusing on the Apex expansion, a few key developers on the project will share exclusive information and reveal some of the behind-the-scenes processes. This should finally provide a clearer picture of what Apex is going to bring in terms of its setting and sandbox additions. Most of the interviews have already been recorded, and the editing is now starting.

Apex release date speculations and potentially important dates:

• May 19^th: 1.60 (according to the 4-weeks-between-updates policy)
• June 4^th: Live Steam if Apex is released June 30^th *
• June 13^th: PCGamer conference at E3, BIS will be present, including the Arma team. They wouldn't go there if they have nothing to announce.
• June 16^th: 1.62 (Apex ?)(according to the 2-fortnight-between-updates policy)
• June 30^th: Apex deadline, sort of

 

* Marksmen First Look Live Stream happened on March 8^th 2015, and the DLC was released April 8^th, Zeus Live Stream was on Feb 15^th 2014, and was released on March 10^th which is a short 30 days. June 4th is a Saturday.

 

 

A dev diary would be release before the end of this month, and it would be pointless if there is no news about Apex in it. It seems related to our speculations.

 

 

Closer date for Apex in dev:

Today’s Sitrep didn’t announced any Live Stream, so the closer date is the week-end after next Sitrep: May 21th

 

Farthest date for Apex in dev:

Apex being targeted for the end of June, it would be insane to let 2 years of work with less than 1 week of dev-branch, so the farthest would be one week before June 30^th : June 23th.

It sucks. I've reached the point where I'm sick of waiting now. But still have to wait till the Diary in two weeks and then the PCGamer show will literally show us the same thing, the Diary.

Dev Diary is less likely to be a presentation of new content than a Live Stream. I think that they will be more talking about their goal without showing content, or a really few.

For example, in Tanoa dev diary, they talk about the trip that a few devs maid, why they choose this map betweens others... But they actually showed it a little only.

In before recycle of trailer footage and diary footage. Hehe, nah. I think the Diary will contain more context than visual presentation. The PCGamer show may be what actually shows off the real stuff.
