Guest Posted May 9, 2016 It's just an internal server, to play between them. The point is that this an official picture, they certainly show this on purpose. So Apex is very likely to contain a multiplayer mission called "Queen of the valley".
graemeshute 218 Posted May 9, 2016 mitrail maybe its a code word for some WIP campaign LOL. Project Blue Book. Majestic 12. I will believe it when I see it. The usual reply we cannot confirm or deny the Queen came up our valley. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monarchy_of_Fiji But it said the monarchy was dissolved...so

Maio 293 Posted May 9, 2016 King of the hill - > Queen of the valley I am a strong PC advocate and the subtle, almost unnoticeable sexual undertones in your post are damaging to the safe space that is this thread. CaptainAzimuth 714 Posted May 9, 2016 Let me spread some logical light on "Queen of the Valley". Judging by the fact Tanoa is a gritty Archipelago, most of its towns are located in valleys, while the surrounding hills or mountains (if you can call them that) are full of jungle. Now, logic says that you don't want to be trying to cap a town while in a jungle on the side of the hill... Where you can't see anything...
Sokoloft 5 Posted May 9, 2016 This map is interesting however I prefer mod maps that are free.
Alwarren 2767 Posted May 9, 2016 This map is interesting however I prefer mod maps that are free. Nobody is forcing you to buy it. However, be prepared that there will be A LOT of missions for Tanoa. I am quite sure that mission makers will jump on it, so if you're missing on those, don't complain ;)

FoxFort 341 Posted May 9, 2016 Currently I would be more happy if they make somekind of filter for mods when using Virtual Arsenal. But Tano as map looks cool, I still wonder about performance hit.
Wiki 1558 Posted May 10, 2016 New SITREP expected today!I hope we'll get something about Apex... :(
Guest Posted May 10, 2016 They will probably talk about the new server browser and the short return of feedback tracker.
graemeshute 218 Posted May 10, 2016 Yip expect nothing before #PcGamingShow16 I would say expect content to hit DEV in new month.
Wiki 1558 Posted May 10, 2016 SITREP out! New Dev Diary incoming, but no date about it though :( There is a new Dev Diary coming your way. Focusing on the Apex expansion, a few key developers on the project will share exclusive information and reveal some of the behind-the-scenes processes. This should finally provide a clearer picture of what Apex is going to bring in terms of its setting and sandbox additions. Most of the interviews have already been recorded, and the editing is now starting.
Guest Posted May 10, 2016 Apex release date speculations and potentially important dates: May 19th: 1.60 (according to the 4-weeks-between-updates policy) June 4th: Live Steam if Apex is released June 30th * June 13th: PCGamer conference at E3, BIS will be present, including the Arma team. They wouldn't go there if they have nothing to announce. June 16th: 1.62 (Apex ?)(according to the 2-fortnight-between-updates policy) June 30th: Apex deadline, sort of * Marksmen First Look Live Stream happened on March 8th 2015, and the DLC was released April 8th, Zeus Live Stream was on Feb 15th 2014, and was released on March 10th which is a short 30 days. June 4th is a Saturday. A dev diary would be release before the end of this month, and it would be pointless if there is no news about Apex in it. It seems related to our speculations. Closer date for Apex in dev: Today’s Sitrep didn’t announced any Live Stream, so the closer date is the week-end after next Sitrep: May 21th Farthest date for Apex in dev: Apex being targeted for the end of June, it would be insane to let 2 years of work with less than 1 week of dev-branch, so the farthest would be one week before June 30th : June 23th. (Once again, none of these are officially announced, they’re just my personal speculations)
CaptainAzimuth 714 Posted May 10, 2016 I would say around E3 we'll get info, and soon after the content hitting Dev Branch. Not sure if BI is attending though. Just speculation on my part.
Wiki 1558 Posted May 10, 2016 They say 1.60 will be released at the end of the month. 19th of May is too soon, probably 27th or 28th of may.

Guest Posted May 10, 2016 They say 1.60 will be released at the end of the month. 19th of May is too soon, probably 27th or 28th of may. possible/probable. It would push 1.62 later, too. But for now and for us, it's only theoretical.

graemeshute 218 Posted May 10, 2016 I think this is how it will go. Video...likely a week to finish an edit. Nothing on DEV. Likely video next week. #PcGamingShow16 More news or similar to Video Juneish..Live stream of Tanoa...but limited roll out of content on DEV. I believe June is when the content will filter down in DEV. Basically what I am saying forget this month except maybe a video. You can see we are two weeks into May almost and nothing shown of actual Apex.

But still have to wait till the Diary in two weeks and then the PCGamer show will literally show us the same thing, the Diary.
Guest Posted May 10, 2016 Dev Diary is less likely to be a presentation of new content than a Live Stream. I think that they will be more talking about their goal without showing content, or a really few. For example, in Tanoa dev diary, they talk about the trip that a few devs maid, why they choose this map betweens others... But they actually showed it a little only. I think the Diary will contain more context than visual presentation. The PCGamer show may be what actually shows off the real stuff.
