The Meteor does have a Longer Range than the AIM-54 Phoenix, the USN even plan to make the Meteor the a successor of the AIM-54! The Phoenix is Classified as an Extrem Long Range A-A system. We primarily use the F-16 for air to air however, and a lot of the AI can outrun me. However, I just generally bait them into a turning fight and kill them lol.
