Anyone successfully able to run this mod with MCC Sandbox? When I try to spawn the units in this mod I get a myriad of error messages and it never works.

First off, great job with this addon. All the planes look amazing! I just have one question. Where can I find the classnames for the planes themselves? I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find them.

there is no list for the classnames of the planes currently posted, however one way you can find out is if you go into the editor and place down whichever plane you looking for and it will come up on the top right of the dialog box.

Also everything that was made by the usaf team has a prefix of USAF_ so that may help you as well.

Works fine here - using mod version of MCC Sandbox.

Hey guys sorry for the lack of updates lately. I've been trying to enjoy the game as much as possible before I really put in the oil. Anyways I want to share with you some upcoming things for the air force mod.

Adds

-----------

Sniper pod targeting

MFD switchable screens for F-16,A-10, F-35, and F-22.

MFD PIP for same aircraft mentioned above

New GPS/INS

Fuel pods actually have fuel

Nuclear bomb added to F35 and F-16(will require you to have the B2 pbo)

Customize paint schemes

Fixes

-----------

A-10C load outs correctly configured

New service menus

A-10 interior sounds fixed

F-22 interior sounds fixed..outside sounds lowered

A-10 flight system overall reconfigured

This is a tentative list more to come of course.

Would the ac-130 work in the combat support modules of ALiVE? Also can we download seperate aircrafts or are they all in one PBO?

I don't know about it working with Alive. Everything in the air force mod has its on pbo. Read front page for the required ones

Glad to hear you took over F-35B, we can't explain how much we're waiting for it. I recently tested the AV-8B mod by Chairborne and it has an amazing sound, you can try to talk to him about getting that for F-35B as they sound similar.

wont a B61 in a fighter jet be a bit OP? The F 35 and 16 are able to defend themselves and even engage land targets whilst equipping the bomb..less so the F35 but the 16 can

 

Then again you could argue that a B2 escort could be just as potent

Such an amazing mod, I am a very huge fan actually ever since this mod was first released, one or two things though I had in mind and I would love for you to try it out, first, the sonic boom and the fast turning air smoke, I have seen these stuff in the eurofighter and I tell you man, this thing is a game change. The second thing I would love to see the F-15 functioning, since it is a part of the United States Air force, I know this aircraft has been created by ivory previously, but unfortunately it was not well made. And also try adding more on-runway staff modules and increase the texture of the helmets for the pilots. Firewill has done a superb job creating some amazing pilot uniforms and gear along side the HUD, we honestly need a more advanced hud I am afraid on arma we are operating a fifth generation aircrafts with a 2nd generation HUD modules.

Also I know that I should be report a bug in the bug section, but the sound of the A-10C thunderbolt II is too loud on the inside making it hard to tell the difference between the player sitting inside the jet or outside of it. Thank you, I hope I am not asking for too much.

I can't say enough about this mod being amazing. I already have a video about it but looking to do individual reviews since there's so many planes.

 

I was wondering, is it in the future planning to edit the sound of the M61 Vulcan on the F16 and F22? From firing the F16 and F22, it sound like it has the 50cal sound on it. 

 

Also I'm guessing this is a fix that you'll be looking at.  :P

@Fuller

 

I dont't know about others with this issue, but for me it seems that atleast F35 ECM is FUBAR right now. It does not even protect me from ZSU-39 Tigris missiles anymore. All the other scripts seem fine to me.

The A-10 is still having issues with exterior sound when you're in the cockpit view. I'm running 0.5.3.3

I've ran across one issue. When using the BIS Virtual Support moduel, every aircraft with the exception of the drones and AC-130s spawns above ground, but not moving. They spawn in about 50m above ground, engine on and gear down, and they begin to spin up as if they're trying to take off, but since there's no runway they just fall to the ground and explode. Anyway to prevent this? I'd love to use these on some missions.
