Looks very nice. Promising indeed. Is this still part of vtn? Is there any progress regarding vtn? Update, helos, jets maybe ACE compatibility?

New:

- Animated radar site on the mount Friday;

- cs_assault-like hangar building at "AS-Salute" location;

- More dirt roads around the airfield;

- Power substation at the road from the city to the military base;

- Powerlines and lightsources;

- More than 20 surveying signal towers. At least two others can be seen through binoculars from each of those;

- More vegetation around the whole map;

- Vehicle caponiers around the airfield;

- Hiking trail around Altyn-Kaya;

- Other minor improvements;

Fixed:

- Some forests were impassable;

- Removed bushes from the roads;

- Stairway from the shore to Altyn-Kaya;

Known bugs:

- Some geometry glitches when using an air duct at "AS-Salute";

Not a bug:

- Sharp cliff on the west side of the map is not a bug. Cossac cape is not an island, obviously it's a cape. And this is the map's end. Unfortunatelly this is not technically possible to place any invisible walls, so here is barricades on the road symbolising NO WAY HERE;

A really cool little map, even tho it bares very little resemblance to the real Kazachka  ;)

 

Btw: you have Keys folder doubled in Addons folder and mod.cpp is there as well

Very good map, the only downside is how a bit of the island is clipped at the West-side.

I don't recognize it as a downside. Any game has a borders of a map (unless this game is the Minecraft, of course).

I would like to add that yes, all maps do have borders, this particular border looks ridiculous when approaching the terrain from the west in an air vehicle. It's a bit odd, too, for a map with a giant airfield to have such a drastically visible border.

 

Of course, to each their own (especially the map maker). I only write this because I like air-raiding the field.

Yup - making it an actual "island" with some steep cliffs rather then a cutoff would be epic win for aesthetics and usage.  ;)

Nice map, like A3 version of Utes.Thank you for your work.

 

Yesterday i tried to do smth in the new Eden editor, so i made a VTN-mod version of your  demo mission ("To the last bullet") on that island. I changed nothing, but just replaced RHS-units on VTN-ones (since there are enough content (finally they've got hmmwvs) to remake this mission). Mission require only VTN-mod (it works well with 1475 build) and this map. If you don't mind there is a link on mission https://yadi.sk/d/gzV7oWXmpxS5x

Btw, how long we should wait to see Beketov district map?

Version 1.2 July 2016 has been just released on Steam.

Build 1.60 compatibility patch.

FIXED: Lighting is now fully compatible with Arma III version 1.60
