Now I see what the post above meant with the vanilla ammo issue-I have that too. It's really not a problem-doesn't affect the mod working at all,but I do have it as well.

This is a possibility but i will look into it. 

 

Regarding the ACE ammo Blazenchamber, i edited your mod myself to add it and adding "ACE_HuntIR_M203" to the magazines list of the capable weapons (GL) seems to do the trick.

 

I'm not an addon maker so i don't know any underlying issues but we can fire the huntIR perfectly for now.

any chance you guys will implement Toadie2ks animations on your AR15 platforms such as the M4s to the 416/417?? 

I don't really see a need for toadies work to be used for this project.Don't get me wrong-toadies stuff is incredible but the animations done by the SMA guys on the Mk18's etc are perfect in my opinion.It's now my number one used weapon followed by the SMA SCAR-H for longer range stuff.

Oh i had no idea they had custom animations, I just got back to arma 3 and havent checked out the newer weapoms but from past experience, the AR15 platforms were using the vanilla scorpions smg reload animation iirc, Will redownload and check it out again

Well Ive downloaded and seen alot of new stuff which is amazing, but the AR15s are using the vanilla animations that comes with the scorpion smg, and they are using Toadie2k's animations on the AUG, so I was just asking if they would also use it for their AR15 platforms. Well I say the SKS has their own custom made animation as I have never seen it before which is amazing, but thats the only custom animation apart from the AUG that has been uploaded. Dont get me wrong either, just an idea as the AR15 platform weapons here are amazing, why not add in custom animations? =)

After trying to mess with BE filters for CBA in Exile... the requirement for MRT and CBA make me sad... I'd love to have the functionality of the 3x magnifier but trying to sort out BE filters is a pain. Why the requirement!!? (Sorry long night of doing filters)

Just need to correct you here.

 

Todies work is fantastic and we currently use his animations for some of our weapons such as AUG and SKS and MINIMI. Hes work is great and we hope to collaborate on more of our weapons in the future.

Hi not 100% sure why the ammo may be doing this i will look into it.

 

The missing texture will most likely be because you have missing SMA pbos. I do not recommend running SMA without all its pbos.

 

I have tested the mod completely redownloaded and launched the game with SMA + CBA_A3 and mrt functions, I haven't manipulated the mod in anyway (as in deleted .pbo's or sorts).

But the issue stays there for me.

Great mod, but one thing blocks my community from using it, is there compatibility patch to allow using your magazines in RHS weapons and their magazines in your weaps?

Blaz3nChambers' PC is dead at the moment, so until he's back here's an unofficial sound update that uses the original close sounds but vanilla distant sounds. When he gets back I'm sure it'll get much better.. I've just set it up to use the new system.

@keeway: SMA comes with a 'vanilla ammo' pbo in the optional folder which you could pretty easily modify to support whatever ammo you like.

Any plans to slightly lower the position of all ACRs for a more realistic and consistent cheek weld? The MK18s etc are fine, but since the ACR dimensions are different (bigger/higher upper receicer), it looks and feels weird in most stances...

Thank you for putting together such a great Mod. the group I play with especially likes your Tactical M4s. The SBR version is excellent!

Hi there blazenchamber & SMA team!

 

Really enjoying the marvelous work you are doing with the mod. Hope the next iteration is forming up nicely.

 

However, I did pop in to wonder what happened to HK416 w/ GL and VFG? It seems that the vertical grip has been dropped out (though the UI icon still displays is) somewhere along the way.

Sound fix can just be put in the @SMA folder or any other @mod\addons folder. It's not signed (don't have the private key). Feel free to sign it yourself. Also, it does work without that pbo, just it won't use the new sound effect system.

Just wanted to say thanks for a great mod. Two of the groups I game with use these weapons on their servers and everyone loves the functioning eotech/magnifier optics.

 

Really looking forward to seeing the next update with the new toys mentioned.
