Chair contact raid his commanders gun works, maybe he can tell you how to do that, also can you please remove the smoke bellowing out of the LAVs, its very obnoxious and gives the LAV away quite easily

What smoke do you speak of?

edit: i just checked, raid's m1a2 loader gun has a similar problem, his periscope doesn't move at all. As i said i really think this has to do with the engine. It was present in Arma 2 as well.

when in water it smokes more than a t-100 on fire

I haven't been able to reproduce this.

Are you using any other mod like blastcore?

Are you on stable or dev branch?

stable, no graphic effecting mods, done on Altis, i'll take a screen and post it a few posts later (if somebody posts while im doing this)

Still nothing on my end :confused:

Even if i spawn from 100m in the air i get wheel damage but the vehicle behaves fine in water, no weird smoke effect.

it seems less apperent suddenly, may be a loading glitch, also it was during a storm in game with wind on full

UPDATE - 11/08/2014

v0.3a is a small hotfix.

I've added the winter textures gently provided by Hogthar and Sitrepo and fixed a small bug that wouldn't show dead crew animations when shot.

Hey Chairbourne, have you tried some tweaks on the Cfgs classes so the LAV25 is spawnable through MCC? Great to have new camos =)

No i haven't.

I asked but nobody could point me in the right direction, most likely because it's a rather vague problem.

Right now i don't have time to wander around in configs changing things at random.

i haven't played with MCC in over a year, let alone try to understand how it works lol.

Furthermore, i don't want to change config names because that would break already existing missions.

If you find any consistent solution feel free to get back at me and i'll see what i can do. ;)

That is a stryker, this is a LAV-25, so no.

A LAV-AT would be impressive :D

That will eventually be done when bug polishing is over and some other (easier) variants get done but it's surely in my intentions to do it.

And, what about if you can install the TOW missiles:

AV-AT (Anti-Tank)

LAV fitted with an Emerson 901A1 TOW-2 ATGM (Anti-Tank Guided Missile) launcher, the same turret that was fitted on the M901 ITV (Improved TOW Vehicle). It is also armed with a pintle mounted M240E1 or M240B general-purpose machine gun. It carries a total of 16 TOW missiles, and 1,000 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition.

It shouldn't make a diffrence if the Cha_LAR is defined as a faction in the cfgFactions but i'll take a look.

I was informed the autocannon doesn't work with AGM.

I'll see if there's a fix to make everybody happy when i have time but i'm afraid it's gonna have to wait for a while.

Wish we could get a modeler to turn these things into A2's.

Good effort still Chairborne it's nice seeing these things in ArmA III.
