So 50% of Egyptians were radical muslims ? and muslim brotherhood was radical ?

I don't see what's the point of discussing a religion details ,as long as you don't belong to it ,you should not complain or try to shape it to your ideal model ! you are not allowed to marry people from other faiths in islam because it's one of islam's teachings and that's it! it doesn't accept arguing according to your ideals, most of muslims accept it and do it in order to protect their community !

The argument is against killing innocent people. If it is to ideal to ask to not behead children, then I'm sorry.

I have nothing against normal, moderate and peaceful Islam, but radicals and extremists make me sick.

I remember a women from Germany saying on TV that she loves Egypt but probably won't come there any more because they are banning bear even for tourists.

Status of non-Muslims[edit]

In 1997 Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Mustafa Mashhur told journalist Khalid Daoud[181] that he thought Egypt's Coptic Christians and Orthodox Jews should pay the long-abandoned jizya poll tax, levied on non-Muslims in exchange for protection from the state, rationalized by the fact that non-Muslims are exempt from military service while it is compulsory for Muslims. He went on to say, "we do not mind having Christian members in the People's Assembly... [T]he top officials, especially in the army, should be Muslims since we are a Muslim country... This is necessary because when a Christian country attacks the Muslim country and the army has Christian elements, they can facilitate our defeat by the enemy."[182] According to The Guardian newspaper, the proposal caused an "uproar" among Egypt's six million Coptic Christians and "the movement later backtracked."[183]

Prime Minister, Hazem Al Beblawi on 21 December 2013, declared the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organisation after a car bomb ripped through a police building and killed at least 14 people in the city of Mansoura, which the government blamed on the Muslim Brotherhood, despite no evidence and a Sinai based terror group claiming responsibility for the attack.[106]

On 24 March 2014, an Egyptian court sentenced 529 members of the Muslim Brotherhood to death.[107] By May 2014, approximately 16,000 people (and as high as more than 40,000 by one independent count),[108] mostly Brotherhood members or supporters, have been imprisoned since the coup.[109]

On February 2003, the Supreme Court of Russia banned the Muslim Brotherhood, labelling it as a terrorist organization, and accusing the group of supporting Islamist rebels who want to create an Islamic state in the North Caucasus

Man ,finding a link on the internet is not enough ! do you know who is Hazem Al Beblawi ? he was the prime minister of the governement formed after the coup led against President Morssi (democratically elected) ... prime minister of a governement that restrict any freedom of speech in Egypt ,emprison journalists and anyone who dares rising against them :) those accusations against MB are not supported by any proof !

A governement that is paying US special enterprises to do propaganda for them :)

Haven't been following the Foley story not as much, but found that part interesting:

They blamed Assad on the kidnapping, but actually Foley was for years in the hands of a " Moderated Islamist group" like those supported and armed by the West : The "Dawood Bridgade" which recently switched from FSA to ISIS and delivered Foley as a gift to ISIS. Foley was a proud supporter of the FSA (Freedom fighters according to the Western media).

Recently the media is full of articles about the new IS threat and supporting Kurds in Iraq, there is another story .......

How the NSA helped Turkey to kill Kurds

Documents from the archive of whistleblower Edward Snowden reveal wide-scale spying against Turkey by America's NSA and Britain's GCHQ. They also show the US worked closely with Ankara to battle Kurdish separatists.

Documents from the archive of US whistleblower Edward Snowden that SPIEGEL and The Intercept have seen show just how deeply involved America has become in Turkey's fight against the Kurds. For a time, the NSA even delivered its Turkish partners with the mobile phone location data of PKK leaders on an hourly basis. The US government also provided the Turks with information about PKK money flows and the whereabouts of some of its leaders living in exile abroad.

The U.S. government also provided the Turks with information about PKK money flows, and the whereabouts of some of its leaders living in exile abroad.

U.S. secret agents have also provided support to the Turkish government in its battle against the Kurdish separatists with the PKK for years. One top-secret NSA document from January 2007, for example, states that the agency provided Turkey with geographic data and recordings of telephone conversations of PKK members that appear to have helped Turkish agents capture or kill the targets.

;2767122']And people wonder why everyone hesitates to arm the Kurds :)

Just a short moment ago there was a report (Frontal21) on one of the main TV channels about weapon deliveries to the Kurds.

If you understand german' date=' you should watch the report.

[url']http://www.zdf.de/ZDFmediathek/beitrag/video/2230470/Deutsche-Waffenlieferungen-an-die-Kurden#/beitrag/video/2230470/Deutsche-Waffenlieferungen-an-die-Kurden[/url]

Kurds categorized as Terror Organisation did help the Yezides

The cause of the discussion about supporting Kurds with weapons was the threatening genocide on the Yezides.

The dilemma ?

--> But, only with the help of the kurds it could be averted, substantial by kurdish fighters who are in close connection to the PKK !

The PKK organisation is been placed on the terrorism black list by Turkey and a number of allied governments and organisations including the NATO. The PKK is called a terrorist organisation in the EU.

However the kurdish Peshmerga fighter did them let down, they did not help the Yazides due to interviews with eyewitnesses in this TV report. By contrast only the kurdish Peshmerga will be supported with weapon delivieries. (The Peshmerga operate in the northern Kurdish state in Iraq which is holding valueable ressources and important centres for international Oil & Gas corporations)

In conformity with all interviewed Yezides, they confirm that ten thousands of Yezides were saved by the PKK from the killing and hunted by the IS.

You have to look into the differences of the different Kurdish groups from Syria, Iraq, Turkey and Iran

in terms of political orientation (capitalist vs socialist) and overall background. Also strategic role in terms of

oil, pipeline routes, political and states affiliation. And of course the role of the Turkish government and security services in this whole mess.

Turkey was strategic USA partner thus Kurdish 'independence' movement like PKK was easy to mark as terrorist organization

(it didn't helped them they often attacked like one)

tho many say the modern PKK is way more less terror group than when founded

( The Guardian ) Pentagon: US ground troops may join Iraqis in combat against Isis

The Pentagon leadership suggested to a Senate panel on Tuesday that US ground troops may directly join Iraqi forces in combat against the Islamic State (Isis), despite US president Barack Obama’s repeated public assurances against US ground combat in the latest Middle Eastern war.

A day after US warplanes expanded the war south-west of Baghdad, Army General Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told the Senate armed services committee that he could see himself recommending the use of some US military forces now in Iraq to embed within Iraqi and Kurdish units to take territory away from Isis.

“If we reach the point where I believe our advisers should accompany Iraqi troops on attacks against specific [isis] targets, I will recommend that to the president,†Dempsey said, preferring the term “close combat advisingâ€.

So you are basing that in a CNN video were the Tea Party's Rand Paul is talking. How an information coming from that media, political group or person could be wrong?

I'm also quite curious what do you mean by: "Western dictators".

Lets ask Edward Snowden then:

The former employee at US National Security Agency (NSA), Edward Snowden, has revealed that the British and American intelligence and the Mossad worked together to create the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

Snowden said intelligence services of three countries created a terrorist organisation that is able to attract all extremists of the world to one place, using a strategy called “the hornet’s nestâ€.

NSA documents refer to recent implementation of the hornet’s nest to protect the Zionist entity by creating religious and Islamic slogans.

According to documents released by Snowden, “The only solution for the protection of the Jewish state “is to create an enemy near its bordersâ€.

Leaks revealed that ISIS leader and cleric Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi took intensive military training for a whole year in the hands of Mossad, besides courses in theology and the art of speech.

(BBC News) Islamic State 'kills 30 Sunni tribesmen' in Iraq

Islamic State (IS) militants have shot dead 30 Sunni Arab tribesmen in a town west of the Iraqi capital Baghdad, local officials say.

The killings reportedly took place in Hit, in Anbar province, which fell to the jihadist group earlier this month.

Residents said the men were paraded through the streets before being shot.

They belonged to the Al Bu Nimr tribe, which has allied with Iraqi government forces attempting to seize back territory claimed by IS since January.

Correspondents say the killings are most likely aimed at discouraging resistance from powerful local tribes, who will be key to any successful bid to retake Anbar province.

Islamic State militants have killed hundreds in the large areas of Iraq and neighbouring Syria they control.
