this is the last variant i will be making, for now. i dont know of any other variants however i received a message where it was mentioned that innies tend to up-armor these bad boys. i wanna see if there is in fact more reference to it and possibly make a up-armored innie version

EDIT: and on that note, this one was quickly made as the original model is fairly low poly which in turn for me means simple construction. added in my own little touches to it like a an actual modeled slot for the ammo with a release button and some other small things.

and for now the last variant of the warthog, this one will be the innies main mover

according to reference they cut the hog up and extended it but what i did is gut the bed of the hog instead, and then extended the cabin past the hogs normal length as the extension. added in armor here and there and the passenger cabin has a "supply hatch" on top. we will have a gunner coming out of that hatch. of course there is no visual reference so i put this together how i envisioned it with a few personal twists and help from the dev team input. i hope you guys like it as it has never appeared in any halo games and was only mentioned in written word. i sure as hell had fun making it. ill go over it again and clean it up here and there but otherwise basically it. will add in some more bags in the top cargo area once we have more backpacks ;)

We have also gained the allowance of a very talented modeller on DeviantArt (http://martynball.deviantart.com/) who has given us full permission to use his models in exchange for credit being given to him.

No arguments here, he deserves it for his hard and wonderful work. Go check out his deviantArt page because almost all of his Halo models are going to be used in the mod!

where time allows i try to continue working on it but we as a group created a road map and it will not be in alpha. that being said most of my focus is on other assets but i assure you it will be in the game before you know it.

since it was so stupid easy i added in the instructor ODST as well... and then... well it was raining but i took these dirt bags for a run!

Just so we are clear, it is NOT Reach.

The map name is "Eridanus II". But this is what it will look like for the most part.

on a sidenote, development on the marines is moving forward. neckbrace and full face helmet are ready for texturing but i still need to make the 2 shoulder pads and knee pads as they seem to use different ones. textures are used from the army model we have so its just a placeholder until we get marine textures. enjoy
