EricJ 765 Posted December 3, 2023 Some work: Made a civilian version of the MQ-17, calling it the "MQ-17 Cargo Drone" for the civilian side. The issue is that in order to use it you need the Laws of War DLC. I don't think it'll prompt you for it if I don't check it off on the Steam page. What I do know is that in order to use it, you need a Civilian UAV Terminal to use it, and that comes with Laws of War. So I think I can include it and not have any issues, as it should give you the option to buy the DLC if you want, and you don't have to use this. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It keeps on tilting over and I haven't bothered in asking anybody on the Arma Discord to fix the issue yet. I've had other stuff to work on, so it's kinda on the backburner right now. EricJ 765 Posted December 7, 2023 UH-60 Pack A3 RC54 - Removed the "Cherokee Supply Container", as it was the base config for the containers. Now it's fixed. - Added the MQ-17 Cargo Drone. This is a civilian version of the MQ-17 that has no weapons or anything else. I will not check off the Laws of War DLC as required, but if you have to use it, then you have to purchase the DLC to use, as it provides the Civilian UAV Terminal for you, and the MQ-17 Cargo Drone requires the UAV Terminal (Civilians) for you to use it. - Fixed memory points for the MQ-XX series, enabling a better view with the turret, even though it's not movable. - Removed the Laser Marker from the MQ-17s, as I couldn't for some reason specify what version of the MQ-17 had the Marker or not, so I removed it entirely. - Containers now have a shadow LOD for shadows. - Increased the lift capability of the MQ-17 Cargo Drone, since it doesn't have the sensors and other gear that the NATO versions have. https://drive.google.com/file/d/109NI8ctABffqUtJ0XsYv7vrfiLI_VM2A/view?usp=sharing Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Likely the center of mass is not over the plate (change this), and it doesn't move with the traverse (can't? change this), so when the wheels rotate out from under the center of mass, it tips over. Another issue is the LandContact. It looks right but when I fire the cannon it moves around, it slides on the terrain (mainly the VR since that's where I check it first), but that could be the way the map is. Or it could be the recoil of the 155mm shells I'm using right now, so that may be the reason. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
EricJ 765 Posted December 9, 2023 Projects on my mind: -M119A3 (on the backburner due to issues and will fix as they come) - A possible "US Militia", which is part of the Independent faction due to interest in maybe how it would pan out. I could always make a BLUFOR version, as well as OPFOR versions, for certain scenarios. I would include this with my EricJ Weapons Pack due to the weapons involved that they would use (a small variety but would give them some teeth) - Possible UNA-themed containers, to use with the Western Sahara DLC (since the CH-49 can lift them) exclusively. Note you would have to have the Helicopters DLC of course in order to use the Slingload feature). I may do the "US Militia" though due to geopolitics, would be an interesting setup. But in a way I can not use my weapons pack, maybe like the Taliban/Afghan civilians, where you simply make the loadouts yourself to suit your modset and the like. EricJ 765 Posted December 9, 2023 First look. I decided to slap it with the Weapons Pack for now, just so I have some weapons. I'll give him a helmet to mess with, but that's what I'm going for. I don't have any veteran T-shirts made so I'll stick with mainly the Looter clothing for the most part. I'll have a Rifleman, Driver, and a Sniper unit, which I will think will be enough for now. I thought about giving them Multicam (since you can buy it online), but chose the civilian look, for those scenarios when you're fighting certain subsets of people, who buy stuff like this.
